SHOCKER

First you need a flat piece of wood about six inches by three inches. This will
be used to mound the parts too. Next, the coil has to be wound. This coil will
realy be a huge inductor. Find a thin enamel
coated wire from the parts distributers and wrap it as many times as you can around
an iron core. You could use a nail or a thick bolt. Now mount that to the wood
by screwing a piece of metal across it or any other way you feel fit. Next mount the
plate. It is just a piece of thin flexible sheet metal cut about two inches long
and half an inch wide. Bend this to screw to the wood and be flat against the
end of the coil. Now the lever goes between this and the coil, and touches the
metal plate due to the spring. This spring should hold the lever on the plate.
When the coil is turned on it will pull the lever in opening the circuit causing
the high voltage output. Just mount a switch between the nine volt batteries
and the coil so it can be turned off at will. Finish by connecting the wires shown
by soldering them in place. There are a few pictures
below of the nine volt batteries and the finished product.
