Aryeh means lion in hebrew.

Who We Are...

We are a family of six, homeschoolers of 13+ years, but brand new to technology. Our collective intersts are reading, davidic dance, languages, and witty sayings.

Jim is the dad. He is a sci-fi fan. He has a strange sense of humor that few understand. You can not believe anything he says, because he can pull you into a story without cracking a smile. He is charming, clever, and quite a joker. He is a talented cook, reads extensively, and is a wealth of *useful* trivia.
Favorite movie... Forbidden Planet He is "The BigDog".

Veronica is the mom. She is Aryeh, Segerson, Antonio, and Liviyah. Shes lives vicariously through her characters and likes the simple pleasures in life. She enjoys woodworking, sketching, reading, chess, learning foreign languages, and verbal dueling.
Favorite heroes ...John Adams, and Mr Spock. She is "The Zealot".

Jason is the son of the double portion. He is carpenter, rebel, friend, and daddy. He likes pool, music, and attitude.
Favorite Food ...chocolate. He is "The Red".

Andy is techman. He was the take-apart kid. He finally learned how to put it back together. He likes computers, electronics, machines. He is intelligent, stubborn, and faithful.
Favorite saying ..."How?" He is "The Bull".

David is lightspeed. He is actor, mime, athlete, and gentleman. He can give a punch, take a fall, or get a laugh. He likes Davidic dance, basketball, home improvement, and being centerstage.
Favorite pastime ...physical activity. He is "Zorro".

Jennifer is lefty. She is bookworm, lawyer, and theologian. She has a firm grasp of all knowledge and promises to explain it to us someday. She likes Shakespeare, Austen, and Peretti. She is witty, funny, and charming.
Favorite story ... Pride and Prejudice. She is "The Litigator".

I would like you to meet a little guy we have adopted. His name is Dover. As you can see, he already fits in with our family because he likes to read. When he is a little older we will homeschool him. For now he likes to follow along in a picture book as we read to him.

He is already learning hebrew. Did you know that the hebrew word for bear is "Dov" That is how we named him.

In case you were wondering, he is not sad. This is his "concentrating" look.
