Places to go, things to see

I have been a fan of hardcore punk, thrash and death metal since it's early days..when Metallica played bars and sat with the fans after the show. I bought my first punk album when I was 15 or 16 (Sex Pistols: Never Mind the Bullocks, Here's the Sex Pistols). In 1984 I began hosting my own college radio show (See you in Hell, later known as Tales of Terror due to a fracas with the Moral Majority). I showcased this music in its infancy (this lasted until 1986, when I was thrown off the air for obscenity....I played GG Allin and the station manager heard!). I also wrote for many musical publications, including my own (ThrashCore). Ok, 'nuff of that....check out some of these bands.
