It came to bloom one Christmas Day
So many years ago
In a far off land
That's the way the story goes
Upon a night so bittery cold
That hardly no one was about
To see the wonderful miracle
That the night did unfold
One silent night in Bethlehem,
As the story was told.
The miracle of life bloomed forth.
An amazing site it was,
and leading to this wonderous site,
There was a star shining oh so bright.
Leading the three kings with majestic crowns,
Crossing the lands they traveled afar.
By guidance of that lovely star.
Now Angels gathering close at hand,
A new born king did grace the land.
A site that almost went unseen
Is celebrated here by so many today,
and now quietly hidden out of sight
In the shadows of the room.
The Christmas Rose came to life,
As it blossomed to full bloom.
Delicately scenting the manger sceen,
Oh how heavenly it all did seem.
Now every year at Christmas time
The rose that bloomed by Jesus side,
Blooms once again for all man kind
A reminder of God's love devine.

I heard the story of a flower that bloomed on Christmas Day, and only then, and I love Roses, so I combined the two and hence forth we have the Christmas Rose. I hope you enjoyed.
