I'd never realised the irony of love,
Until I met you..
We'd known each other for always ..
But somehow this time you took my breath away...
And now that I've fallen for you..
We have to say Good Bye ..

I know you felt something too..
I felt it when you kissed me..
Both of us knowing..
In a few days..
You'd be gone..
Tears fall from my eyes..
As I realise the irony of love..
For I've falled in love with you ...
And the Good Bye is tearing my heart apart..
My telephone rings ..
I know it's you ...
I don't wanna have to say Good Bye ..
Unable to answer the phone..
I need you here beside me..
To wipe away my tears...
But you're gone...
Not knowing where this love affair is going...
Not knowing what the future holds..
But one thing I can promise ...
No other man can touch my heart ..
The way you did ..
And you'll always be in my heart...

As I lay my head down,
To sit and think of you ..
I finally realise the irony ...
Of falling in love with you ...
