Feelings of confusion once again,
Flood my mind ..
All because of you, and your lies..
Missing you was pushed to the back of my heart,
Feeling like a stabbing wound,
Whenever I see you around..
Never did I want to see you again..
But One too many beers,
The slip of my tounge..
Letting you hear the confession,
Of me wanting to see you again...

Not Afraid..
Keeping my cool..
Promising myself,
I wouldn't help you...
To make me fall again..
A kiss passed from your lips to mine..
Again we stepped over the line..
Journing back to the time ..
When you were mine..
When you tore my heart apart..
As you whispered sweet nothings ..
Into my ear...
I felt myself falling from that mountain again ..

You said you never wanted to hurt me ..
Claiming you hated yourself..
For I gave you everything,
And you only gave me pain ..
A promise slipped from your lips ..
Feeling proud...
So sure you'd changed..
But that promise was never fulfilled...
You, again, made tears slip from my eyes..
Making me wonder why ..
Am I only a toy to you ..
A doll you play with when you please..
The anger in my heart,
Making me want to scream..
The clock stuck midnight,
And your promise once again,
Broken by the sound of the mid night sound..
How did you fool me into believing you?
Why'd I'd believed you'd changed ?
I told you many times...
Don't promise something you can't keep..

But again, like a spider and a fly..
You trapped me in your web..
I freed myself once ..
Can I do it again..?
A broken promise was all it took..
To prove you'd never change...
Leaving me alone to fight for my faith ..
My strength ..
Why'd you have to come back again,
And try to ruin my life ...
With your sweet talking..
And promising words..
Making me love you again...
After all the pain you caused..
Your broken promise will be my reminder..
To the mistake I made with you ..
By letting you back in ..
My life ...
