Salty tears slip onto my lips,
Your confession came at a bad time ..
You came into my life,
Like a desert wind..
Making me feel so refreshed...
Before I can blink,
You've run away with my heart..
Leaving me with the sweet after taste of love ..
You claimed you hated me..
Insulting me with evil words..
Forcing me to hate you..
Letting me break free..
Now you want forgiveness..
For all the pain you caused..
And because of your confession ..
I feel the love so new ..
For everything you hurt me with,
Was forgotten with your apologies ..
And I've forgiven you again ..
But you're not coming back to me..
