You know what? This crap is so not working. I'll get back to you when I have a real website. Until then, catch me online and I'll send anything to you you particularly want. If you really feel up to the trouble, then cut and paste your heart out.
In order from oldest to newest, these are a few of my compositions. They range from around 1998 to 2001, and are mostly flute works, unsurprisingly. http://www.geocities.com/kallyste/fluduet.mp3 : Duet on a Swedish Folk Tune I wrote this in my senior year of high school and it was promptly nicknamed 'The Funeral Dirge.' I used to have bangy piano chords with it as a joke, but then people actually liked that, so I dumped it. My sense of humour is wonko. This is me playing flute with myself. http://www.geocities.com/kallyste/fluteqt.mp3 : Gathering on the Shore Let it be stated for now and forever that I *hate* naming compositions. I was almost forced into naming this one. This is a flute quartet I wrote freshman year and recorded in quartet with myself. http://www.geocities.com/kallyste/didothing.mp3 : Variation of Dido's Lament An assignment for theory class run amok. Unfortunately bassline in the piano was dictated and the piano is both completely boring and MIDI. Ick. This is my awful singing and my nowhere near as awful flute playing. http://www.geocities.com/kallyste/Wilke-labyrinth.mp3 : A Soundtrack to Part of Labyrinth This was an assignment for my technology in music class and is *supposed* to sound scary. It succeeds admirably, in my opinion. http://www.geocities.com/kallyste/BarbDeckProj.mp3 Another technology in music project, this project required the use of samples to form a piece of 'musique concrète.' I wrote the samples myself, performed them with MIDI and added a flute improvisation over the top as well as clichéd and awful vocals provided by yours truly. http://www.geocities.com/kallyste/spiff.mp3 : Spifferito's Sonatina This was a piece I wrote for my fabulous groupie. Solo flute work which I performed myself. http://www.geocities.com/kallyste/lordcavityshrine.mp3 : Lord Cavity's Audio Shrine This piece is completely done with MIDI, which is unfortunate, really. http://www.geocities.com/kallyste/obstacle.mp3 : Obstacle This piece was conceived as a mockery of my piano playing abilities and progressed to be a mock of my clarinet playing abilities, too. Piano is midi, since I had problems with the original and there's no way I could play that! Orthal A midi piece for piano ostinato with a melody and harmony line. It's very... constant, to put it nicely. And ask me where I got the name. |
