age: i am 20. i am a libra--you missed my birthday, didn't you?
gender: i am female. last year there was some debate about this in my hall, but i am certifiably female. (just because i'm a tenor...j/k)
ethinic heritage: well i am blatantly white--like paper. i am mostly german and russian, part english, scottish, and basically a tour of northern europe.
special talents: i have control over muscles in my eyes that most people didn't know existed. i communicate telepathically with my sister(arthur fonzarelli!), i am a good musician/composer, and an all around smart ass.
nicknames: everyone at college calls me barb. i haven't figured this out yet. it may be that it goes under the large category of "western new york things". masta b (j/k) mistress kalysta of the fire shrub. everyone in my french class called me "bah bah ha" ::shrugs:: hi, i'm really sandrylene. or sandry. nice to meet you.
political affiliation: democrat-tax and spend, baby! actually, i am libertarian. everyone muct be as free as possible and equality would be a nice added bonus. to hell with order.
religion: i am technically half jewish, half lutheran, but it's pretty much agreed that i am supposed to be jewish and i ignore this in favor of other ideas, like deism, taoism and worship of sunlord vkandis. whatever, it's all good.
hobbies: i play the flute and piccolo well. i spend so damn much time practicing... i have also learned to play clarinet, oboe, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, violin, euphonium, piano and i can sort of make a sad attempt at bass, cello and tuba. i write, i draw, i paint, i do general artsy stuff, i freak people out, i try to make my own clothes, i read A LOT, and i make quote lists--i'm sure you haven't noticed.
family members: mom, dad and sister, debi.
availability: single but you weren't interested anyway (see my picture and tell me why). =Þ
hair colour: generally unidentifiable. it's 4 different colors, depending. in spring it's mostly blonde, in summer it's dark strawberry blonde, in fall it's a light brown with red and blonde highlights, and in winter it turns green. i swear--it's the bane of my existance.
eye colour: blue. unless they feel like being green or hazel or grey that day.
favorite number? 27 and yes, i know it's a perfect cube, and no, that's not why i like it.
zodiac sign: libra=creative, artistic, balanced, describes me pretty well, but i just left out all the bad stuff.
ideal job? umm..flutist in a parisian orchestra? i want to be a scholar, like in older times. i want to learn forever. it's why i'm here.
have you ever been convicted of a crime? me? heck no, i'm a goodie goodie.
what do you think of oiuja boards? somehow all the people who believe in them are total freak jobs. coincidence? i think not. and while i am a total freak job, this is not a contributing factor.
favorite salad dressing: dementedly enough i enjoy non-fat italian. vinaigrette is good too. i actually like real italian much less.
pets: if it breathes, my mom is allergic to it. and i don't want any of the things i could raise in a dorm room. i want a cat. (die mom, die)
do you drink?: i am unable to. the last time i had access to alcohol everyone there was already slammed and i felt someone should be responsible. i have never been drunk, but one day i will just to see what it's like. alright, i'm lying. i'm never going to get drunk. sorry to break it to you kathryn. it's not worthwhile anyhow, especially since i can't stand the taste of any of it.
shampoo/conditioner: changes often. at school i use the imitation salon dealies that suave puts out. i believe i'm currently using somthing that's supposed to be similar to paul mitchell. like i noticed or cared.
deoderant: why, should i? just kidding!! i have one that smells like freesia now. i told someone this, and they tried to smell my armpit. good word! the deodorant might smell good, but i don't want you in my armpit!
toothpaste: imho this is rather silly. i use whatever is on sale.
have you ever gone skinny dipping? no, rather the opposite--i have gone swimming multiple times with all my clothes on--even shoes.
do you make fun of people? only my friends--you know i think you're cool if i laugh at you and make snide comments.
is the glass half empty, or half full? hey! where'd you get a glass from? actually my glass is full to the brim, but it is exactly half the size of everyone else's glasses. so there, make of that what you will.
favourite colour: silver or blue, depending on how strict you get over the fact that silver isn't a color.
best friends: lisa, jenna, debi, evi, kathryn, anna, julia, and at school my awesome friends are cara, susan, gina, essena, morde'an, sarah, lisa, liz, leann, karen, anna, lauren, sam, (argh, just the whole hallway--we plotted to live together for a good reason) aaron, and manders 'cause she's my favorite redhead. man, and i prolly missed someone too. and this from the girl who's supposedly anti-social.
one pillow or two? currently? four, but it doesn't count 'cause at least two of them are on the floor by morning--restless sleeper.

car i drive now: '87 ford taurus. actually, i can't drive it anymore, so it just keeps us all company in my driveway. that's what happens when mr. nice car starts belching toxic smoke out of the ventilation.

favourite shoes: my doc martens! (the new ones that my dad bought me and that i will sing his name forever for)
favourite food: non-fsa food. i guess lasagne, cheesecake and anything with spinach. except i don't like spinach with cheesecake--i'm picky like that. oh! and chicken kiev!! but only in the russian tea room, no, you don't want to know.
favourite snapple flavor? kiwi strawberry. and it's matt's too, so i'm in distinguished company!

if you could be one gardening tool, what would it be? more stupid questions. i would be a pickaxe. not that it's much of a gardening tool, i just like saying the word "pickaxe"

i watch: other people. it's amusing and less straining on the eyes than tv. also more entertaining than tv.

favourite soundtrack: mortal kombat...i'm so sorry i said that. dangerous liasons is quite good.
favourite tv show: tv? i wacth tv? well, for the sake of whatever, if i were to watch tv i would religiously tape monty python's flying circus which is apparently back on now. on a&e. at 6 in the morning. set those alarms, eh??
piercings or tattoos: umm, i am going to be a teacher--i don't think a big tattoo of a dragon would make that good an impression on the school board.
what is your favourite mouse pad? ooh! susan gave me a new one that's awesomely ergonomic, and it's SILVER!
favourite board game? let's be real weird and say lord of the rings. yes, there is a board game. yes, i own it. no, i have not been able to assemble the board sufficiently well enough to commence play, but damn! it looks cool.

worst feeling in the world: audition time (gives me incredible burning pains in my stomach, and triggers my asthma too, so that i can't breathe [always good when you're a flutist, i might add.]), feeling worthless, feeling like no one cares.
best feeling in the world: f r e e d o m. feeling like you are understood by someone.
favourite smells: winter, campfires, vanilla, (i had a bottle of biaxin once that smelled pretty good), coffee (doesn't taste as good, darn it all).
i collect: cds, classic literature, jewelry with dragons/swords/wizards, art supplies that i will eventually have time to work with. :)
do you get along with your parents? well, as long as i'm not living with them i do. my dad's not too bad.
favourite town to chill in: used to be new york, but now i think dc.
i like to hang out at: definitely borders. except you can meet some psychotic people there(i'm one of them =Þ) mostly though it's much fun.
favourite ice cream: vanilla--always good and you can do whatever you want with it.
favourite drink: mountain dew. caffeine is my friend. we all know that don't we? i'm trying to quit. it's sort of working.
favourite store to shop in: lord and taylor's clearance center. this is where i got both my prom dresses(one at $20, one at $40) and a great pair of jeans($10)
what's your bedtime?: i was trying for one this year (on weekdays) and it didn't happen. usually it was 2:30. on weekends 3 or 4, i guess. now that i'm home it's even worse.
do you sleep with stuffed animals? i miss my cuddly. i named my blanket myself. at the age of four. you can tell, can't you? well, actually now since cara gave me a wonderful teddy bear for christmas he has been keeping me company, but i can't seem to get an appropriate name for him. i think i might name him theodore (not teddy for short--theo instead), but i'm not sure yet. suggestions?
storms: scary or cool? cool! even after the lights go out. it's still fun. and we walk around the neighborhood and see who has lights and who doesn't, and who has a tree on their car.
favourite perfume/cologne: i like body shop's dewberry. good stuff. and exclamation (sentimental value-debi gave it to me.)
favourite body lotion/shower gel: i am not very into this--i have wal mart's generic oil of olay. works well, not that expensive--2 thumbs up.
favourite subject in school: music. wait, that's all of my classes! um, i really enjoy music history because dr. davis makes class so interesting. and no, i don't believe that he's satan, i'm sorry.
favourite alcoholic drink: don't really have one. i'm slacking off in the category of college drinking. haven't had anything to drink at all in about three semesters. i don't really miss it, it's just not worthwhile. now on the other hand, caffeine highs and watching the other drunks and laughing...
favourite sport to watch: soccer. i love emmanuel petit!
i read: everything. as soon as you put it in front of me i read it. but i really enjoy fantasy stuff.
favorite authors: anne mccaffrey, david eddings, raymond feist, mercedes lackey, susan cooper and tamora pierce. (last two are my favourites from childhood)
favourite book: i like lots of stuff. fantasy, but also la morte d'arthur, heart of darkness, i don't know--lots. i am trying to read crime et chatiment (crime and punishment in french), i'll see how that goes.
favourite website: mine? certainly not. actually i really like www.brunching.com. it's funny stuff.
favourite artist: escher, i think.
favourite poet: i enjoyed archibald macleish, but i haven't read that much of him. it's not a.e.housmann, i can tell you that.
if you could meet one person, dead or alive, who would it be? borodin. i really like his music. i like russian romantics. but he'd prolly want to talk about chemistry. darn it.
what is on the walls of your bedroom? really big wizard poster, a whole bunch more wizard posters, starry night, strange dominique appia poster, self portrait, other examples of my artwork, other fantasy type posters, and more! i have a lot of stuff on my walls.
i listen to: almost everything. new wave, brit pop, new age, techno, alternative, classical (mostly romantic and baroque, and I DON'T LIKE MOZART. so there. feel free to argue with me.)
favourite bands: depeche mode, pet shop boys, deep forest, the cure, tori amos, i'am, akhénaton, cirque du soleil. i know that's a lot, but i generally listen to music with every waking hour.
song of the moment: moby and gwen stefani--south side. i have had that in my head for about a week, now. unfortunately, i don't know all of the lyrics. this leads to improvised ones like "friday night ride through heaven and hell, call up my friends and i tell 'em they smell"
favourite concert experience: U2 pop tour-concert at giants stadium. that was fun.

number of children: no, i do not have any illegitemate children, thank you.
are you an indoors or outdoors person?: outdoors, because sheetrock isn't that attractive.
favourite holiday: halloween. that's where i dress up like usual and people admire my ingenuity. well, not quite, but it's fun. i was a sorceress freshman year, a druid priestess last year, and i was a genie this year. gotta love holidays that give you an excuse to paint your face blue and put on gold glitter, tassels and garishly sparkly vests.
favourite candy: well, i tend not to have much, but if i do, then pixie stix, airheads or asstd. gummy things. the common link being that they are all pretty much pure sugar. none of that other distracting stuff.

guys? they don't talk. it's as though they started out talking normally, but at some point, in school, maybe, someone told them all that they're not supposed to talk. now they don't, or not often, or not well.
girls? go gift of gab! we talk all the time. and we're more fun. and in realmz we get a +1 to agility vs. males who have +1 to brawn. and you know agility is better because with agility you can hit the target in the first place, otherwise it doesn't matter how hard you can hit it. good word, i'm an incredibly large dork.
i abhor: people more obnoxious than me, society as a whole, eight am classes, and playing "let's find the new re-incarnation of last week's over-cooked chicken! (thank you fsa).

what is your mental state? i would like to say that i am sane in an insane world, but let's be realistic. i am insane in an insane world. but in a non-harmful-to-humans sort of way. and yet in a totally different way from everyone else. i'm friendly though. and i don't bite. unless you ask nicely. =Þ
