This is my first Super Powermaster Prime (God Ginrai) figure. I got him for $C on Sept. Xxix, Mmi at Image Anime. Thanks goodness they reissue him again because back in the good old day, I never got a chance to own him. Now I'll cherish him for sentimental purpose.

Unfortunately the U.S. version did not have any motto or tech spec for Super Powermaster Prime/ God Ginrai. However, they may have in the Japanese Canon.

1 - This is the Super Powermaster Prime (God Ginrai) Gift Set which included both Powermaster Prime (Super Ginrai) and Apex Armor (God Bomber). This Gift Set was never released in the U.S. during the 80's because the character Apex Amor didn't exist in the U.S.

R-2 Super Powermaster Prime (God Ginrai) Full View:

Super Powermaster Prime (God Ginrai) is composed of Powermaster Prime (Super Ginrai) and the drone Apex Amor (God Bomber). Powermaster Prime forms the body structure and the head while Apex Armor is taken apart and clamps onto Powermaster Prime feet, arm, chest, and back giving that battled armor looks. The most annoying connection is the back plate armor since it is easily fall off. The blue pole peg to clamp on the back plate is helpful but not by much. Super Powermaster Prime looks kind of awkward when his leg is closed together because he appears to have one leg as oppose to two. And so, this image is shown with him parting his leg a little bit to give it a better look at Super Powermaster Prime.

R-3 Super Powermaster Prime (God Ginrai) in Attacked Mode:

The back of Super Powermaster Prime (God Ginrai) wing can store the single black gun while he used the double gray gun for more firepower. Personally, I think Super Powermaster Prime looks best when you rearranged the gun in this format. On the negative side it adds more dead load to the weakling connection of the back plate.

Packaging Method: Mint In Seal Box. Contents were packed with the following procedure:

Taped down and sandwiched between two clear plastic trays are: "1" cab, "1" large trailer, "1" small trailer (5 pieces), "2" red wings, "1" large head, "1" engine robot, "2" large gray guns, "2" black gun, "2" missiles, and "1" missile launcher.

On the back of the card board and not inside the clear plastic tray, a taped down bag which contained: "1" instruction sheet, "1" Super Powermaster Prime (God Ginrai) trading card, and "2" sticker sheets.

Box Special Note: Front Box Appearance: Super Powermaster Prime (God Ginrai) box art. Back Box Appearance: I don't recall.

Transformation Of Difficulty: [Medium] - Pretty easy

Material Durability: [-A] - Pretty durable.

Materials: Die Cast Metal: Torso, leg and feet of the cab (hidden due to transformation). Chrome Part: Engine plate, smoke pipe of the cab (hidden due to transformation), body, and legs. Rubber: None, plastic wheels. Plastic: Main material. Clear Plastic Window: Front and side of the cab (hidden due to transformation).

Stability: [A] - Robot mode can stand on any flat surface...pretty stable.

Fun Figure: [-A] - Definitely a fun toy due to many functions, challenging, and a cool design.

Negative Drawback - The back armor plate tend to fall off whenever you move his arm too much.

Articulations: Head: Cannot be rotated. Shoulder: Can be swung at a 360 degree. Arm/ Elbow: Cannot be bent. Wrist/ Hand: Cannot be rotated nor hidden. Hip/ Waist: Cannot be bent or rotated. Leg: Can only do a split. No forward movement. Knee: Cannot be bent. Ankle/ Feet: Cannot be bent and no sideway movement.

Special Notes: Here are "2" special notes which I think you should know:

1, Apex Armor (God Bomber)'s missile launcher came with spring so missile can be fired out so check for spring.

2, Due to the bad connection, the armor back plate tend to fall off very easily. Definitely annoying especially when you move it too much.

Overall Grade: [A] - Super Powermaster Prime (God Ginrai) is beautiful despites the lack of articulation.
