A quick comment:     Back to Powermaster: Review A-I     Teletran-1

This is my first Apex Armor (God Bomber) figure.  I got him for $C on Sept. Xxix, Mmi at Image Anime.  Thanks goodness they reissue him again because back in the good old day, I never got a chance to own him.  Now I'll cherish him for sentimental purpose.

R-0 Apex Armor (God Bomber) 's motto and tech specifications:

Apex Armor/ God Bomber's Motto:

Not Applicable.

Apex Armor/ God Bomber's Bio:

Not Applicable.

Unfortunately the U.S. version did not have any motto or tech spec for Apex Armor/ God Bomber.  However, they may have in the Japanese Canon.

These images were all photographed and scanned by me.  If you're a Transformers fan, this will definitely bring back some reminiscences.

R-1 Apex Armor (God Bomber) in its Original Condition:

pprimeorig.jpg (90480 bytes)1 - This is the Super Powermaster Prime (God Ginrai) Gift Set which included both Powermaster Prime (Super Ginrai) and Apex Armor (God Bomber).  This Gift Set was never released in the U.S. during the 80's because the character Apex Amor (God Bomber) didn't exist in the U.S.

2 - Here's how the content looks once the box was removed.

3 - These are all the contents that were included in the box/ package/ card:

Super Powermaster Prime (God Ginrai) Contents:

"1" cab, "1" large trailer, "1" large head, "1" engine robot, "2" large gray guns, "2" black gun, "1" Super Powermaster Prime trading card, "1" sticker sheet, and "1" instruction for both Super Powermaster Prime and Apex Armor.

Apex Armor contents:

"1" small trailer (5 pieces), "2" red wings, "2" missiles, and "1" missile launcher, "1" sticker sheet, and "1" instruction for both Super Powermaster Prime and Apex Armor.

R-2 Pre-Applied Decals/ Stickers:

There are 2 Pre-Applied sticker that had been applied onto God Bomber.  Those two stickers are located on either side of the trailer.  It's that dark blue bar with the Autobot insignia.

Sticker Sheet:

DecalGodbomber.jpg (77702 bytes)There are 12 registered numbering of stickers on the sticker sheet.  But in reality it's actually 17 stickers since some of the repeat stickers are labeled as one instead of two.  These registering numbering do not include the Pre-applied stickers.

R-3 Apex Armor in Vehicle Mode:

apexveh1.jpg (54733 bytes)The character Apex Armor (God Bomber), who is actually a drone, had never existed in the U.S. in the 80'sonly in Japan.  So when his toy was reissue again in 2001 in both Japan and U.S, many U.S. transfans had no clue who he was or even Super Powermaster Prime (God Ginrai).  In vehicle mode, Apex Armor can either be a truck or acts as a double trailer (see R-4).  Apex Armor doesn't really have any real transformation because to change from one mode to the next, you would have to take him a part and then reassemble the piece.  He is more of a puzzle piece rather than a transforming piece.

R-4 Trailer Hauler & Battled Mode:

apexveh2.jpg (59243 bytes)As mentioned in R-3, Apex Armor (God Bomber) can either be hauled by Optimus Prime cab (top left image) or connected on the back of Prime's trailer giving that double trailer effect (left bottom image).  The connection for both part is very stable and the join is movable making turn very possible unlike the Ultra Magnus RID in which one has to lift the entire truck to make a turn.  The upper right corner is Apex Armor in vehicle battle mode by flipping the wing sideway and plug Powermaster Prime guns onto of it.  The double gray gun can also be mounted on him so Hi Q (Ginrai) can act as an operator.

R-5 Apex Armor in Robot Mode:

apexrob.jpg (62612 bytes)In robot mode, Apex Armor (God Bomber) is only good for display.  If you try to move him too many times, his shoulder tends to fall off very easily.  This guy is very un-sturdy and light so just leave him alone.  Surprisingly, Apex Amor is very tall and stands as high as Powermaster Prime (Super Ginrai) himself.  He comes with one missile launcher and 2 missiles.  The hands is molded with the same hole size as Powermaster Prime so both robot can share weapons with another (second image).  This is actually make sense since both Apex Armor and Powermaster Prime share combining technology with one another.

NOTE: Powermaster Prime (Super Ginrai) and Apex Armor (God Bomber) can be combined with one another to form Super Powermaster Prime (God Ginrai).
