Aleksander Kochkanski: Nightmare's father, who she had spent so long looking for only to randomly find at a restaurant. He doesn't really frequent the lodging house, but Nightmare is hoping for a good relationship with her family. Anastazja Kochkanski: Nightmare's 7 year old half sister. She's adorable and Nightmare loves her very much, in fact, she says that she's one of the only people in the world that she loves. She has long fine black hair and sky colored eyes and will probably grow up to be very pretty. She goes by Anya and is very outgoing. Andrew Blair: An 18 year old teenage factory worker and something like Nightmare's "cousin". With his dark hair and crystaline blue eyes he seems rather full of himself, but inside he's something else all together. Andrew is prefectly loyal to the end, you could ask for anything more. Debuts in What Dreams Are Made Of. Created and played by Nightmare Blair. Baby Buster, or BB, is the smallish green frog Maura caught Freckles for Valentine's Day, 1905, after his beloved Buster died of old age. He doesn't have quite the penchant for peeing on things that his predecessor did, and his catchphrase is simply "ribbit." Freckles is very protective of him. Brendan Clare: A 17 year old French Immigrant, with dark blonde hair and accent that can make any girl melt . He lives in a boarding house in Manhattan with his mother and several other families. He helps his mother run the family store, and can be sickly sweet at times. Debuts in What Dreams Are Made Of. Created and played by Nightmare Blair. Technically, Cards Muldoon is Cats' fiancé, though they haven't set a date yet and still aren't sure when they'll be able to afford to get married. That's not the point, though--the point is that after almost three years they're finally engaged. Just ask them. Cards is 2 and a half years her senior, rather notorious for his temper, even if he's gotten better about it recently, and a former Coney Island newsboy. He currently lives with some friends on the Booklyn side of the Brooklyn/Queens border and tends bar at a pub close by, occasionally selling a few editions when the headlines are good or money is tight. He and Cats spend most of their couple time elsewhere, but every now and again he drops by the house, usually to pick her up. Created by Spitfire Conlon, formerly of Lower Manhattan; used with her permission. Cheeky and Alexander Roberts--the golden-haired British twin siblings are Cats and Freckles' cousins. Believe it or not, their mothers were twin sisters. You'd never tell it to compare the twins to Cats (who fights with Cheeky like there's no tomorrow), but Freckles (who thinks both are the world's greatest couins because they spoil him) could easily be their younger brother. Cheeky lived at the Hempstead Lodging House until just recently, when she finally married her on-again-off-again boyfriend, Taffy Saint; Alex is still trying to find a job steady enough to support himself, much less his sweetheart, Susan. Both have British accents, big blue eyes, high cheekbones, and a light splattering of freckles. Created by Cheeky Roberts, currently played by Cats MacMillan. Clive Kurrmond is Caesar's 'uncle'. He's actually an older cousin, and the current 'head' (following the mysterious death of his father) of Caesar's family, which is involved in a number of shady operations, primarily in Europe. Clive is cold, cruel, and calculating, but often puts on a warm front to gain others' trust. He has been trained since childhood to be a fighter and a leader. Clive has an eerie ability to make people do what he wants. He sees potential in Caesar , and hopes to mold him into a valuable member of the family business. Clive is 21 years old, with short brown hair and bright green eyes. Created and played by Caesar Carslyle.. Cyrek Kochkanski: Nightmare's 10 year old half brother. He's a darling little thing who looks just like his father Aleksander and gets picked on by the boys at his school so he clings to Kolby and his little sisters. Dylan Finnely: A 6 foot, nineteen year old living in Queens who is currently in an intimate relationship with Knots Bliese. He works in an illegal drug and prostitution ring and has much more power and say in what goes on there then he lets people outside of the business know. His eyes are pale blue in color, almost looking like glass that has a hint of coloring in it, he was told they were like that because his mother's mental disorder passed some odd gene down to him. His hair is brown, lightened by the sun and now looks to have even lighter brown streaks because of it. He's curious and likes asking a lot of questions. He's very nice and can almost always be seen with a grin on his face. He does, however, do drugs and needs some in his system almost every day, if not then he can get very jittery but too much of the drugs can make him act the opposite of his normal behavior, making him quiet and even dangerous at times. Felix Sanchez Garcia is Shakespeare's best friend from the Bronx. Upon hearing about Shake's whereabouts he's decided to drop by and check on his favorite amigo. Felix has black hair and dark brown eyes. He's little crazy and if Ritalin were around it he'd need to be on it. Kinda makes you wonder how such a mellowed out person like Shakespeare could stand him huh? Fighter Mallory has been friends with Ice and Temper Riley since they were kids and now that they're all grown up they're all even closer. Fighter lives in Brooklyn but she tries to visit Ice and Temper when she can. She has curly black hair and green eyes that can take on a yellowish hint when she' s angry. At one point her and Temper dated but they decided that it was best to just stay friends. Gidgit McClarity--actually, that's Gidgit Gibson now. She's not so sure she's thrilled about the alliteration. About 18, give or take, 5'6", brown hair, brown eyes, "average up, down, left, right, sideways, an' every othah wich way," she's been best friends with Crash since either the Dawn of Time or something close to it. They finally got married in late May of 1905. She's energetic, happy-go-lucky, upbeat, and perpetually optimistic, despite having all the reason in the world not to be. Debuts in Time Between Meeting. Gizela Kochkanski: Nightmare's half sister and a spitting image of Prunella. A 16 year old who happens to know that she is very pretty and is very arrogant about it. She hates Nightmare and looks down upon her. Hunter Riley is Temper and Ice's uncle and he is the one responsible for their parents' murders and eventually Ice's boyfriends and Fighter's uncle. He has yet to be caught and has already attacked Ice and threatened them, saying that once he killed Fighter he was going to come after them again. Iris--Cats' cat and the mother of all the kittens running around. She's black and white with bright yellow eyes and sharp claws she's not afraid to use. She's also meaner than Satan himself. Debuts in Sweet Emotion. Cats MacMillan. Jab Riley is Ice's and Temper's cousin, he lives in Greenpoint and really doesn't try to contact the cousins he doesn't get along with. He used to live in Chicago where both his mother and girl were killed. When he caught the guy who did it, the guy said he was payed to but he wouldn't say by who. So Jab came to New York hoping his cousins could help him, when he was turned away he became bitter and retreated to Greenpoint. They haven't heard anything from him since but they know he's there just waiting for an oppurtunity to do what he wants. James Carraway is Alicorne's step brother. He's about 18 and as arrogant at the day is long. He's somewhere around 6'0", medium build, with slightly long black hair and blue eyes. Jonathan Fraser, usually called Jack by his friends, is about 20 years old. He has curly dark brown hair, hazel eyes, and is tall and rather large. He's quite the charmer, but not the sincerest guy around. Jack is a childhood friend of Gavin's. Katanyna Kochkanski: Nightmare's baby half sister. The little bundle is only a few months old and quite adorable. Kolby Kochkanski: Prunella and her first husband's son. Kolby is 17 years old with dark hair and eyes. He's shy, sweet, and somewhat smitten with Nightmare. Kolby has also been very depressed since he found out that he is not Aleksander's son. Kylie Avenall is a childhood friend of Gavin's whose parents and brother were killed by Scythe. She is often emotionally torn between doing the right thing and her need for vengeance. She loves Gavin, but all of the loss she has experienced causes her to have difficulty dealing with her feelings. Kylie is 17 years old, with long brown hair and blue eyes. Created and played by Caesar Carslyle. Margaret "Molly" Corcoran is the owner of the Ravenswood Lodging House. She's a sweet, older Irish woman in her late fiftes-early sixties, who created the LH with her now-deceased husband, Jacob. She has three grown children, Kenneth, Laura, and Gretchen, who live in various parts of the country. She's very loving and motherly and fond of just about everyone in the house, though Cats is particularly close to her. Created and originally played by Rebel O'Muireadhaigh, currently played by Cats MacMillan Marcus Carlysle is Caesar's older brother. Whereas Caesar ran from his 'duty' to become a leader in his family's organization, Marcus embraced it. He is not an evil person deep down, but his want for power can cause him to use others mercilessly. Marcus is 19 years old, with brown hair and green eyes. Created and played by Caesar Carslyle. Prunella Kochkanski: Aleksander's Wife, Nightmare's stepmother, and the main reason that she hasn't gone to live with her father. She is a very pretty young woman, but she has become greatly bitter do to the death of her first husband and daughter. Sapphire O'Riley--A fellow Brooklynite of Fighter Mallory, Sapphire, or Felicity as she once was known, is the girlfriend of Ravenswood resident, Temper Riley. At an average height of 5'6", she has long red hair, a fairly petite figure, and her namesake, gem blue eyes. She has grown to be very loyal to Brooklyn and the newsies there, who have become her new family. Overall, in the year in New York, she has maintained her politeness, morals, and benevolent nature, but has also come out of her shell as a more mature and aware young woman. Siani, Trinity's black cat. A daughter of Iris, she was very protective of her owner and was heartbroken by her death. She's named after Trinity's older sister Maelona Siani Arianell Galeran. Actually, Siani thinks she is a dog. You'll have to watch her to make your own judgment though. Created by Trinity Galeran. Sidney Richmond is a childhood friend of Heist. They grew up in the same rough neighborhood of Chicago. When Sid's parents and younger sister were murdered, he was taken in by a friend of his father's, who was a private investigator. Sid was taught the tricks of the trade, and although he was somewhat bumbling at times, he did a decent job. Gavin's sister Anna found Sid's office, and asked him to help her find her brother. The girl reminded him of his own late sister, and Sid had Heist help him locate Gavin, so the two siblings could be reunited. Sid is 18, has short brown hair and dark green eyes. Created and played by Caesar Carslyle.. Tristan Pressman is the only guy who Ice dated before she came to Ravenswood. He was her best friend since she was eight and her boyfriend once they hit puberty. He was light hearted and had a kind nature, Tristan was the one person who could bring Ice out of her shell completely. He was killed by Hunter Riley in 1901 and after his death Ice retreated even further into herself. He played a major part in her life and she'll never forget him.
Buster, RIP, was a large green frog belonging to Freckles that peed all over everything. He is now buried just outside the back door--a tiny cross made of sticks marks his grave. Dinias Robegan was an independent newsie that slept on the streets. He didn't have many friends and the ones he did have he didn't trust any more than they trusted him. He has dirty blond hair and is about 6'0" give or take an inch. He is very strong and hard to beat. Rebel however beat him when she first became a newsie. He has wanted revenge ever since. Debuts in Assassin (Or, A Good Wizard is Hard to Find). Created and played by Mysteria Mangini. Jake Larsson: A Swedish sailor who claims London as home, he is Phia’s old hot-tempered interest. He brought her and her brother Jamie separately to New York as stowaways and is still madly in love with Phia, in a controlling, power-hungry sort of way, though she is frightened of him because of an unfortunate incident she witnessed on his ship. He’s had one or two run-ins with the residents of Ravenswood, one consisting of an all-out brawl between him and Alex Lourenco, Willy Foster’s older brother, but he has no intentions of backing off until he leaves with Phia. Created and played by Phia Grannett. Jonas O'Dell was Rebel's first love (and lover), back in 1900-01. He's around 6'0", with longish light brown and brown eyes. He also has a heavy Southern accent-- with strains of New Yawk mixed in. He and Rebel have a child together- but nobody really knows (except him, her, Painter, their old friends- and now Dorian [by accident]). Jonas usually lives in a variety of places, with their son Gabriel (though he did- and still sometimes does- spend his fair share of time in the Refuge). Created and played by Rebel O'Muireadhaigh. Patrick Blakley is Crystal "Poison Ivy" Blakley's brother. He's 3 years older then her, making him 17, and well built. He's a tall lad of about 6'1" with dark eyes, and messy auburn hair. He has killed both of his/Poison's parents, and Poison's first boyfriend, Michael. He used to be a very kind, and caring boy, but somewhere along the lines he became very selfish and mean. He claims (only to Poison, since she's the only one that knows..other then Headliner, now), that he killed Michael, to keep Poison safe, and that Michael was getting to be too close to her. Poison highly doubts this, but won't tell him, for fear of being killed herself. Patrick is now living somewhere in New York, his location, unknown, with his "gang" of about 10, or so. His aim, although, he has not said so, is to capture Poison, and force her to sing, in order to make some money, since he's heard her sing, and knows about Poison's angelic, hypnotising voice. Created and played by Poison Ivy. Witchcraft Stevens, a girl about 18 who finds herself mixed up with the Ravenswood crowd when she gets into a fight with Trinity Galeran. She is 18, weighing about 135 pounds, and is five feet seven inches tall. Witchcraft isn't hard on the eyes either. She won't take crap from anyone. She'd rather pull her switchblade on your before clearing up an understanding. Witchcraft has no loyalty to anyone and especially when her repuation is on the line.
