Thomas "Beak" Jauncer, a 19 year old Canadian, came to New York under the strict instruction of his parents to go a school there. He realized that he didn't have to do what his parents wanted, since they weren't around, and performed a true act of rebellion by not going. His parents have yet to find out. His nickname spawned from the fact that his nose is broken, or "Roman", and appears larger than everyone else's. His friends used to tell him that he reminded them of a bird, and out came the nickname. He's thin, lanky and tall, with brown eyes and short brown hair that has a mind of its own. As for personality, he's very easy-going and nation-proud. He's brave, blunt, emotionally strong and willing to die for his beliefs and the people he loves. Currently no debut.

Caesar Carlysle is heir to a legacy he wants no part of. His family deals in illegal activities throughout Europe. Caesar was groomed to be one of the leaders of this family, but has instead opted to try and live his life on his own. This does not set well with some other family members, however. Caesar has a fondness for historical wars and conquerers. Caesar is 17 years old, with shoulder-length brown hair and bright green eyes.

Kamui "Dragon" Shirou is a shroud of mystery to many of those around him. With his seemingly everchanging hair and eyes depending on how the light hits him, dark and mysterious are two words that seem to describe him. He is very protective of Heaven, even though he disappears occasionally. Debuts in Ryuu-Dragon. Created and played by Rhapsody Anderson.

With raven dark hair and emerald eyes, Dagger Neismith stands at around six foot. He is judgmental towards people he does not know and can be very hard to get along with. He is very strong on the idea of "every man for himself." He has a soft spot for little kids though, but it is only seen at rare times. He is best friends with Knots Bliese and talks to her often about how he feels. He likes to be alone and can often be found in alleyways near the park, though he will only be bothered if it is Knots. He is currently single and does not mind one bit. He would rather be alone and keep to himself.

18 year old Evan Spencer grew up rich but ended up poor. After his parents died of smallpox when he was 10, Evan tried to get a job in town, but no one would hire him. He was forced to live on the streets, and he eventually met a few fellows who introduced him to one of Brooklyn's hardest gang leaders. Seeing a young, intelligent, malleable mind, they quickly inducted Evan into the gang. Evan Spencer is Ads McFadden's best friend and significant other. Unbeknownst to the gang, he helped her to escape to Queens when she crossed the gang's leader. After the gang leader found out about Evan's involvement in Ads' escape, Evan escaped Brooklyn very suddenly one evening and came to Queens. He then joined Ads at the Ravenswood lodging house where he now resides.

Firefly Marlowe raised his two sisters for many years after being abandoned by his father. He was crushed when his younger sister died of a disease, and felt it was his fault for 'allowing' it to happen. He cares deeply for his surviving twin sister Nightsky, but his guilt and burden of responsiblity often causes him to lash out at others. Firefly is 16 years old with short brown hair and brown eyes.

Freckles MacMillan is 9 going on 10, irresistably adorable, intent upon knowing absolutely everything there is to know about anything and everything right now, and not quite as innocent as he'd have you believe. His curiousity gets the better of him more often that not, but he can usually manage to get out of trouble by sheer virtue of his absolutely adorable smile. Usually. Debuts in Sweet Emotion. Created and played by Cats MacMillan.

Cassiel "Gavin" Devereaux is 17, fairly handsome, with black hair and brown eyes. He's as friendly as the person he's talking to, although he loves to annoy people that let him get to them. Debuts in Angel of Araboth. Created and played by Alicorne Broughton.

Riley "Inkblot" Jacobsen was unexpectedly orphaned by the government and almost killed by street toughs before taking up with Gypsy. He's your typical head-in-the-clouds idealistic poet, which makes for interesting confrontations with Gypsy. He pursues his dream of being a famous poet while supporting himself on a newsie's wage. Debuts in Sparks Fly. Created and played by Gypsy Blue.

Killian Shea is a relatively new member of Ravenswood, hailing from a notoriously tough slum called "The Valley" in Chicago. He's been traveling around the country for the last year or so, and only settled in New York for the sole reason that he ran out of money. Permanently tan with dark eyes and dark brown, unruly hair, most find Killian attractive--until they strike up conversation with him. He's a loner by choice, and not the most friendly person, with a terrible temper. It's quite a challenge to befriend him, but once you do...well, at least you'll be glad he isn't your enemy.

Lancelot Lia now twelve years old, has returned to Ravenswood because he misses his old friends. He has grown up considerably since he left. He is much more responcible and a lot more like his brother than he would care to admit. Old friends aren't the only reason he's come back. Not much time has passed, but much has happened, much that Lancelot wishes he could forget.

Needle is a strange and unusual boy who's known for his oddly pale skin, talent in medicine, and his anti-social behavior. Being only fourteen years of age he seems oddly older even for his short, thin frame. He's weathered to the ways of street life, growing up in Jersey. He's always curteous and gentleman-like when it comes to women and girls of any age and others seem to find him very likeable and mysterious. Doesn't like speaking of his past life at all. Has yet to make a debut.

A boy of eighteen, Picks Hewitt has blue eyes and brown hair. He is at the height of six foot. Picks is a nice guy, but can very easily hold a grudge, for example with Knots. He loves to fight and will find any reason to join in on one. He's very good at the fighting unless he's outnumbered, which in his eyes, only a coward would do. To a girl he likes, he's very charming and easy to get along with. He was in love with Knots Bliese until she ended things with him. After a few rocky months trying to get over it, he's looking again for new girls. He still gets a little jealous when he hears of how great Knots and Dylan are doing, but doesn't show it.

Puddleglum Laire is 18 years old with blond hair and blue eyes. He was raised to be a gentleman and loves to treat the ladies to dinner when he can, even if it's just as friends. He hates to see people sad, and even more, he hates it when he thinks someone doesn't like him. He's constantly afraid that he has done something to cause them to despise him. He is very over protective of his little brother Puddlejumper. Debuts in Outlaws.

Puddlejumper Laire is seven years old with blond hair and brown eyes. He idolizes his brother but still doesn't understand why they had to leave the James' and their uncles. He's sweet, but easliy upset. He tries almost too hard to be liked. He inherited that from his brother. Debuts in Outlaws.

Carlos "Shakespeare" Montoya Is a Hispanic orphan boy with jet black hair and winter green eyes who speaks in Spanish sometimes. He is a kind and gentle 18 year old, is obsessed with William Shakespeare, and can be seen carrying a ratty Romeo and Juliet book in his back pocket--which is his only memory of his dead parents.

Garrett "Stones" Walker is 17 going on 18 and used to be very flirtatious until he met Rhapsody. Dark brown eyes with sparkling green eyes, he's usually dressed in a dark blue shirt with a pair of black pants. Sarcastic, funny, and protective are among a few of his traits. He was born in Queens and his mother passed away when he was young. He ran away when his father decided to remarry and has stayed in Ravenswood ever since. Created and played by Rhapsody. Currently no debut.

Temper Riley is the exact opposite personality wise as his sister. Where's she's cold tempered he's hot. He's very easily aggitated and there are only a few people who can really calm him. One's his sister and the other two are Fighter Mallory and Sapphire O'Riley, both of which reside in Brooklyn. Temper spends a lot of his time with Sapphire or at the pub.

Adam "Torch" Grace is the other half of the Grace twins residing at Ravenswood Lodging House. He looks just like his sister Ziggy except for being a boy and not having glasses. Adam is very out going and will try anything once. He loves to eat cake and take daily naps. Like his sister his family owns a very dangerous organization. But Adam takes part in it-or at least he used too. He messed up and now is on the kill list of a couple not so nice men. But he doesn't worry-he never does.

Former Lodgers

Art Twain is a tall boy with green-hazel eyes, red hair, and 17 years old. Will most likely always be seen with his sketchbook and pencils. He's pretty easy going, he's a people person, and will usually be found in the middle of a group of friends. Debuts in Untitled (Art's Story). Created and played by Bookworm Cameron.

Baxter Pflumn is the sensible counterpart of his twin sister, Liese. He's more of an introvert, and hasn't really had a lot of time to get to know many of the other lodgers since he's over at his cousin Otto's almost every week. What Liese doesn't know about this arrangement is that Baxter is contemplating moving the two to their cousin's house, since he's already been given the offer; the only thing keeping him in Ravenswood is Liese's attachment to everyone there. Debuts in Sense, Nonsense, and their Related Adventures.

Chase Callaghan is also an Irish import. He accompanied Hunter to America since his families are in similar conditions. Chase helped Hunter carry Trinity back to this lodging house after she was left beaten in an alley. After visiting here, he decided to live here and make money while he gets aquainted with America. Debuts in So I Need You. Created and played by Trinity Galeran.

Crash Gibson--they don't call him "Crash" for nothing. At first glance (and second, and third, and fourth...) he's quiet, unassuming, probably the clumsiest person you'd ever want to meet; but underneath it all he's something completely different. Bright, quick, and actually quite observant, he catches on to things most people just don't. Not that he says anything about it. The only person he's ever been able to confide in is his long-time friend Gidgit, who became his wife in late May, much to his utter happiness. Debuts in Time Between Meeting.

Dorian Michaels is a recently-turned 17 year old boy, originally from Denmark, but grew up in London, England. After tiring of the abuse and indifference he received from his father, he stowed away in a ship to America to make a life for himself. Petite in stature, only around 5'4'' at the most, he has an angelic appearance with his blonde hair and blue eyes. He's sweet and a loyal friend, but a bit too shy for his own good, as well as a bit secretive. He married Rebel O'Muireadhaigh and left the lodging house with her. Created and played by Stellina Hudson.

Headliner Johnson is near 14, rugged looking, with brown hair, and fairly short (5'3"), but he more than makes up for it in character; he's a fun-loving, practical joker, and more than a little self-confident, with friends (and a few enemies) just about everywhere in New York. He left the house in fall of 1904. Debuts in the History of Headliner Johnson (Abriged).

Hunter Farrell is 18 years old and definitely social. He loves making friends and being the center of attention. Since moving to Ravenswood, he befriended Trinity who then became his girlfriend. He arrived here with his best friend Chase on an immigrant boat from Ireland. Hunter left behind his mother, father, and younger sister in order to make money for them to come to America as well. Debuts in So I Need You. Created and played by Trinity Galeran.

Painter Daas was a young Belgium immigrant of 12. He first met Rebel in the House of Refuge back in 1900. He had honey-blond hair, blue eyes, and was an artist. He was found on the steps of the lodging house with his throat slit on April 12, 1903. Created and played by Rebel O'Muireadhaigh.

Heero "Protector" Lia: Eighteen years old (19 on Sept 7) He is deeply in love with Mysteria but finds emotions hard to show untill the reapearance of his brother (see Blood Brothers part 3 of the Mysteri and Miseri series still under construction) He has found he can talk to Wizard more than anyone else in the Lodging house but is still very private. He finds comfort only in doing what he was trained his whole life to do: kill. Only Mysteria knows he has become a hired assassin for many New York gangsters and various polical influences. He calls himself Protector because he is the Protector of Mysteria and the secret that may some day kill her. Debuts in Mysterious Heero. Created and played by Mysteria Mangini.

Matthew Riley is a fun loving kid with bright purple eyes identical to his sister's. He's a lanky boy of nine with a big imagination who loves playing poker and practical jokes on people. Longish dark hair is usually in his eyes, due to his lack of haircut. Is extremely protective of his younger sister, Molly. Debuts in Untitled {Molly and Matthew's Story).

Scythe Kinnison used to be a very kind, caring boy. After an accident took away his parents and girlfriend, he disappeared for a few years, only to come back as a cold, fatalistic, and obsessive young man. Scythe often works as a strong arm for Caesar's "uncle" Clive. He is at the lodging house to make sure Caesar does not stray from Clive's aspirations. Scythe practices an odd fighting style that relies mostly on using an opponent's own momentum against them. He is 18 years old, with stringy blonde hair and gray eyes.

Wizard Hartley--a street magician who wound up at Ravenswood with Nimue--or maybe because of her. The two of them got married while visiting her parents in Europe in 1903/04.
