Lincoln Money Shot

Lincoln Money Shot formed during a snowstorm in February 2000. The first couple of months were marked by a charming, Royal Trux-ish incompetency, and there is a cassette tape documenting it. Blah blah blah, two and a half years later, Lincoln Money Shot is easily the best teenage rock duo in the United States of America.

Lincoln Money Shot sings songs about violence, drugs, interstate travel, depression, murder, obsession and drinking. Usually combinations of said topics.

The band is two people, Nick Carpenter and Mike Keegan. They sing songs about murder, drugs, interstate travel, violence, rape, drinking, despondent lives and teenage girls. They listen to bands like Dead C, Fugazi, Wilco, Meat Puppets, Sun City Girls, The Tower Recordings and the Rolling Stones, but they sound nothing like those bands. Whether it's because of brilliant originality or inability to weld Fugazi riffs to country rhythms, you be the judge. (Actually, they're brilliantly original, buddy)
