Sisters of the Heart
Though you were not with me
                                  from the start,
                              When my life first began,
Dear Sister of the heart ...

And as my years went passing by
and needs we not then met,
Our God heard my prayer and sigh
for the sister lacked I yet.

For, in His wisdom, from above,
                            great blessings did He bestow
                                In giving you to me,
as my happy tears did flow.

And, as we travel down life's pathway
through joy, sorrow, and laughter -
We're side by side, each day
                                  and ever after.

The miles may keep us apart,
                                 from time to time.
                                No matter, for we are
                              SISTERS OF THE HEART!
