No Fairy Tale - Chapter 2

‘’I guess this is goodbye, guys. I hope to see you around, magazines, movies, cds, I want all of it for all of us.’’ Chris nodded at each of the three other guys in front of him.

‘’Same.’’ The sandy haired one nodded.

‘’I agree with you guys. It won’t be the same, I’ll tell you that right now.’’

‘’Greg Raposo, don’t you dare cry on me.’’ Allison laughed to the tall brunette guy she was hugging. ‘’Anyway, I’ll see you guys as much as possible. I don’t think I could survive without seeing you guys.’’ She smiled, tears welling up in her eyes.

‘’Telling me not to cry.’’ Greg grinned down at her, wiping the tears away from under her eyes. In return she wiped away his. ‘’Why do you have to live with Chris? Come with me instead.’’ He smiled jokingly.

‘’Chris needs me, Greg. It’s just we, well, I don’t know. But we need each other.’’

‘’I know. Anyway, it’s all good, but just as long as you promise not to forget me.’’

‘’Greg, the day I forget you is the day that hell freezes over.’’ She grinned and kissed his cheek, tasting the salty tears. Next she moved on to Jesse, the taller blonde guy, with green eyes that always seemed deep in thought.

‘’I never ever thought I’d be saying goodbye to you.’’ He mumbled into her neck, his embrace tight.

‘’It’s not goodbye, Jesse. Whenever you’re in the city, call me. I’ll be right there. It’ll be just like it used to be, I promise.’’

‘’Allison, how can you promise something when you know it may never be true?’’

‘’Jesse, don’t do this now. I promise you, I swear to anything, this won’t be the last time I see you.’’ Tears ran down both of their cheeks, their embraces tight. Lastly she came upon Matt.

‘’Matt, I know we haven’t gotten along in the past.’’

‘’Let’s just admit that getting away from one another is the best thing for both of us.’’ He scoffed and just turned away. So much for him being pleasant. With that the guys said their final goodbyes and left. There was officially no more Dream Street.

‘’I never thought it would come to this.’’

‘’Neither did I Chris, neither did I.’’

‘’Allison?’’

‘’Yeah.’’ She looked into his eyes, tears beginning to fall from his also.

‘’Now I know what you meant about moving on.’’ He wiped away her tears and held her in an embrace tighter than ever before, but one so caring that she knew that he was only trying to do his best to comfort them both. It was hard enough loosing the one you loved, and now to loose your best friends made her feel as if the world was floating away. This wasn’t the way life was supposed to work.
