The day was 9-11-2001
It was a day when the skies shared death with the sun
Minds gone wrong in a country thought strong
brought the world to it's knees

Silver metal birds took nest in the towers
An act too absurd wasn't believed for many hours
But the middle east moved in and lives were lost
Now all the worlds families pay the eternal cost
We shall always hold you deep in our prayers
and thoughts of your love far out numbers the stairs
of the World Trade Center now a grave filled with pain
in a world full of terror in a world gone insane
