Crash brings the roof down..
Hi people,
Well I was sitting here the other day and I was thinking about my father, who passed away, last November, and this funny story came to mind.
Well at the time that it happened it wasn't very funny, but I thought it was.It was summer before last up to my dad's house. Dad had called me to come take a look, at the garage.He said "You know we have to take that garage down" as the roof had collasped.
So I went out there and took and look . And said "Sure pop, nooo problem." So out I went along with my step son's and my son in law, went there and started taking the garage down.
Well it came to the part of taking the roof off ,undoing it from the house. We had just took the last nail out. and veroom, down came the roof, we wound up riding the roof down. LOL. But it was when we started taking the walls down when it got exciting.Just as my step sons and my son in law removed the nails from the side of the garage, the wall collasped, Well I was leaned up against the wall.I went down with the wall, and the other part of the roof came down on top of me, trapping me inside the wall and the roof.
I didn't get hurt , but I was laying there inside the mess laughing so hard, I almost split a gut. Dad was yelling " get my son outta there, Get my son outta there!" My wife was pretty shook up about it. But I still was laughing soooo hard, my dad asked "You alright??? " Standing there laughing after they had took the roof off me I nodded and said "Yeah pop's im fine." Through out the whole day dad was calling me crash and laughing at me.
This is one funny story that I thought you all would like to read.

The Potato..
I remember being just a little girl and always hearing that when one of the 5 of Grandma and Grandpa's children would do something they all heard about it and well noone liked to point the finger. When I was little there was always this story that would float around about my dad throwing a potato at one of the girls and well the china cabinet got it. Now of course noone wanted to admit that there was a bunch of horseplay probably going on and well to this day not many talk about the potato.Maybe we can get someone to write out the story and share with us.
