A Little About Me

I graduated in December 2003 from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), magna cum laude with a dual Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science-Mathematics and a minor in Social Psychology. I plan on teaching high school math and computer science. I am attending Union College (GCUU) to receive a Master's Degree in secondary mathematics education. This year I am teaching at Colonie Central High School (in the South Colonie school district). I am engaged to a fabulous boy named Rich (you can read about him on the family page) and we live in an apartment in Troy. My hobbies include reading, writing, music, playing bass clarinet, church, and being extremely clumsy. Maybe the being clumsy isn't a hobby as much as it is an unescapable but hopefully somewhat endearing personality trait. I am originally from Buffalo, NY (specifically a suburb, Clarence). I say "pop" instead of "soda" and am rarely without a snow shovel close by, no matter what season it may be. I hope to end up back in Western New York because it is by far the best place to be!
