Silverweb Coven's online Wicca Lessons
are in response to many inquiries
from THOUGHTS Network.
 

The online Wicca lessons are available
to any sincere, committed person 18 or older
(legal considerations don't allow us to teach minors).
 

The teachings are on a one-to-one basis
with feedback, questions, discussions,
and participation encouraged and expected.
In addition to personal posts,
some lessons are posted on the site,
and others will be posted to our private
Silverweb discussion list.
 

There is no fee for these lessons.
The lessons are on-going so you may join at any time.
 

If you are interested in the lessons,
please write to me and let me know
your goal in taking the lessons.
Please also affirm that you are 18 or older.
 

When you receive a lesson,
and respond to the current one,
I'll send the next one, and so on.
It's important for us to maintain contact.
This is how we do it in our physical coven,
Silver Web.
This prevents misunderstanding of material
or other problems.
 

The relationship between student and teacher
is important and essential -
otherwise, we're just another form
of reading material, as in a book.
Our format means more work and commitment
for everyone,
but it's well worth it.
 

Once accepted as a student of Silverweb,
you will be invited to join our Silverweb discussion list,
where we are creating our cybercoven family.
The list offers the friendship and support of others
on your spiritual path.
 

What will the teachings be?
 

I'm a High Priestess (3rd degree) in both
the Gardnerian and Alexandrian Traditions
with 20 years experience.
 

I'll share material we give to our
coven students in Silver Web Coven.
I can't share OATH BOUND material-
but what can't be shared really only applies
to Silver Web (physical coven) members,
so you won't be missing anything
essential for practice.
 

I can't guarantee that you'll learn anything
not already published
in one of the Wicca books available now -
but this gives you the added benefit
of someone to help you on your path.
 

As a result of these lessons
you'll be able to create your own working
Book of Shadows.
When you receive lessons by email,
please print them out
and keep them in a special notebook.
 

The lessons will include:
how to do ceremony, daily practice,
ceremonies for Sabbats and Esbats,
how to set up and conduct a Circle,
tools, personal energy,
meditation and visualization,
information on herbs, crystals, incense and oils.
We'll work with the Elements,
which is a major focus of Silver Web.
 

Sources are from my own BOS -
including material I've written and added,
material from my Elders,
and material from other sources.
Some books are recommended and will be referenced.
I'm available for questions,
problems, and general guidance.
 

My end goal is for you to have your BOS,
to be knowledgeable enough to conduct
your own Circles,
and to be able to celebrate the cycle of the year,
both Sabbats and Esbats.
 

Self-Dedication is a part of
Silver Web's Initiation process,
and you will be guided in this.
The lessons should take up to a year and a day,
followed by the optional Self-Dedication.
With Dedication you may be, if you choose,
an Associate Member of Silver Web Coven.
You may then have the option, if you choose,
to form a Grove
that is a daughter Grove of Silver Web Coven.
Associates may be Solitary as well.
If you wish formal Initiation (and further training)
that can be discussed after Dedication
and would need to be in person.
 

This is a new experience for me too!
On-line teaching is an exciting concept!
Flexibility, patience, and a sense of humor will help!
