Adam Kadmon, also called Seraphita or the Holy Hermit, is a magnificent six-winged angel, neither male nor female, and is said to be the only angel who can work Time magic. Adam Kadmon was the first angel, and is the progenitor of Alexiel and Rosiel who embody the angel’s positive (organic, female) and negative (inorganic, male) aspects respectively. Long ago, Adam Kadmon was sealed away in Aziluth, the highest heaven. In actuality, the Creator has been using Seraphita’s astral power for eons to nourish and sustain the forms of newly made angels while they mature, and Adam Kadmon has been dying little by little, giving up its own life for its beloved children.

Adam Kadmon – The primordial man of the Jewish Kabbala. Adam Kadmon was the first man, the perfect prototype created by God. He embodies both the male and female, and his image describes the divine symbolism of the human body. He is represented by the ten sephiroth, the circles of divine creation. Those are Keter (crown), Hochma (wisdom), Binah (understanding), Chesed (mercy), Gevura (strength), Tipheret (beauty), Netzah (victory), Hod (splendour), Yesod (foundation), and Malkhut (kingdom). The final sephira, Daat (knowledge), represents divine knowledge, and exists outside of the sephirotic tree.
