Late afternoon yesterday was a perfect, peaceful time at Pretty Bay. The new deck is a wonderful addition to the Dollhouse. It had been gloomy all day, with spots of rain. DB and I spent most of Saturday running around doing errands, and Sunday we were both busy at church. So, when we finally arrived back at the Dollhouse, we were tired.
Our neighbors joined us on the deck, and we had coffee and potato chips with a honey mustard dip and laughed a lot. I enjoy this little neighborhood. Friday night we all sat around the campfire at the elder statesman's trailer. Saturday night a group of us had an "Italian" night at the pavilion (it was raining, AGAIN), each bringing a dish to pass. Saturday evening we gathered on another neighbor's deck to enjoy each others' company.
When the campground was quiet (most people had gone home early because of the rain), the sun came out. DB and I lolled around, me reading in my new chair. Then we had a few games of cribbage, packed up, and came home. I felt rested and only a little frantic about this very busy week coming up before our trip to Mexico.

It is so foggy this a.m. that I didn't walk. Not a good idea to miss that walk. I have my nuclear stress test tomorrow, which will require my walking on the treadmill. I'm not looking forward to that whole experience. 5-6 hours, the hospital papers tell me! AGGHH!
