"The Garth Experience"

The Concert "EXPERIENCE": I guess the best way to describe a Garth Brooks concert is imagining yourself in the eye of a "tornado". Everything around you is in perpetual motion and you yourself experience a mix of emotions ranging from anxiety to hysteria, yet you are also overwhelmed by quiet contentment as you connect one on one with Garth. It is a PHENOMENAL experience that you will never forget.

I first saw Garth live in Cheyenne, WY in 1996 and I was totally blown away. That year, was one of the worse years of my life and Garth was the light at the end of the tunnel. I've since seen him live in concert 4 more times, including being a part of "Garthstock" in Central Park and I will continue to do so as many times as possible. No other artist entertains the people like Garth does ~~ HE IS THE BEST!!!!! If you've never seen him perform live, do not pass up the opportunity to witness this phenom; you won't regret it. HE IS THE MOST DESERVING PERSON TO BE CHOSEN AS ARTIST OF THE DECADE!!!

"Instead of treating them as consumers, he makes the audience part of the event, keeping the energy flowing in both directions and narrowing the gap between the stage and the audience".(Larry Nager ~ The Cincinnati Enquirer 11/10/96)AND...what Garth said prior to playing to 5 sold out shows at the Riverfront Coliseum in Cincinnati, Ohio, "My dad's words keep echoing to me when we talk about this, 'cause we had done shows in Texas Stadium, and we were fortunate enough to do three shows there. I was sitting next to Dad ... puffing my chest up, laughing, '200,000 people!' And he goes, 'Yeah, that's 200,000 people you could disappoint.' And ever since then, I had a new outlook on that. So five shows, we're happy. But one at a time, we'll do our best to make sure it ain't five shows that people walk away going, 'Aah, I'll never do that again.'"

I recently had the pleasure of meeting him several times and the best way to describe it is....."mystical"....and I was pretty much speechless the first time. So, the times thereafter, I was able to thank him for the music, for being the wonderful person he is, for making me BELIEVE that dreams can come true and for this ride I've been on since 1996. I don't ever want it to stop!! THANK YOU GOD and Mom for answering my prayers...I can die a happy woman!!!!!!!!

"MY FAVORITE GARTH POSSESSIONS": Several of every CD, including Promo's and cassettes. Several Garth shirts, including a Padres #77 and several Mets #1.
