M3 PTG
This is one of the BMW Prototype Technology Group's GT class racing cars. An affiliate of BMW NA if I'm not mistaken, they race throughout the country. I saw this car once before when it was on tour and came to Holtz. They're fast, but they won't tell us how fast. Just not as fast as the E46 M3s or the E46 M3GTR V8...
2001 M5
This was one of the most mobbed cars at the display, as you can see. The parking lights were on, with the ellipsoid headlights, but I don't know why only one xenon light was on. It bothered me so I didn't hang around too much. And if you see the sploch on the hood, that's only where I was taking out the flash and didn't do a perfect job of it. It's hard to recreate metallic paint!
2001 BMW MCoupe
The new Coupe, with 315hp was a nice sight to see. I enjoy this car, even in a dark black. But the black on red is a nice touch indeed. NYIAS Page 9
