Bentley Copse Camp
Topic: Record Hello again, I've just got back from camping at Bentley Copse Scout Camp Site, here in Surrey. This is the site where J-W claims to go to work at the weekends alot in the summer. We were in the Nest, which looks nothing like a nest, it was a small building with two bunk rooms and other rooms. We were camping with the Cubs from Shalford. The Cubs worked on a couple of badges that are that new, that the peoples who make the badges to be given to the Cubs, have not made the badges yet! Now even I know that is no good, as the Cubs will need to do it all again, when they are made (J-W says that is not how it works). Hello to Graham the Warden at Bentley, who it turns out found this website earilier in the week when looking for something else, whilst online. Also Graham, are all the lights now behaving as I got J-W to remove the Cubs from the site? Nov 2006 2 nights, so total now 24 nights away.

Topic: Photographs ![]() Back in the summer 1st Shalford and Shere & Peaslake got together for a joint walk with a differents. Yes I went along... Oh J-W says that is not the difference, something about the funny sheep like thing behind me?!. SCRAM 2006, and J-W's mother 'helping' me into a cannon. Some odd idea about me wanting to get out of the sun!

Things to come
J-W had a phone call from the GSL of Shere & Peaslake last night. He has been invited to join S&P on their Christmas Camp, but he will have to do some Archery Instruction on one of the mornings. I have also been invited, and to the best of my knowledge I do not have to do anything! We will be staying in the building at Bentley Copse, mid way through December. Also J-W finally let me know that we are going camping again at Bentley, later this month with the Shalford Cubs.

Bonfire night
Well went over to Gomshall last Friday Evening to help the Shere & Peaslake Scout Group run their Bonfire Night. Well J-W was doing the First Aid rounds and I was riding in his pocket, as it was rather cold. The fire works were good, and J-w said the bergers were ok.

Mood: Topic: Record 14th to 15th July 2006, Albury Heath, one night. A Produce Show is held on the Cricket Pitch every year and the Shere & Peaslake Scouts help run it, and this year they slept over. Got to meet the Third Lord Baden Powell of Gilwell, who was awarding the prizes at the show. 15th to 16th July 2006, Bentley Copse, one night. J-W was working at Bentley as well as doing the Show, so it was easier to sleep over at Bentley Copse on the Saturday Night. 22 nights away.

Llamas
Mood: Last evening J-W tried to sneak off on his bike, going to Cubs on a non Cubs night. So I snuck into the cycle bags. We ended up on St. Marthia's Hill. Then 25 cubs from Shalford and Shere & Peaslake turned up, as did FIVE llamas. We then went for a wander around the hill with them. There should be some photos to follow.

Activities
Mood: Been out a bit this month, 6th May Friday J-W was helping Trina from Shere and Peaslake do archery with her Scouts in the evening. I went along to meet up with my fans from S&P. I was asked after by a couple of them. On the 7th we were doing archery again, but all day this time for the Cubs of the district. One short shower only. Saturday 20th, went to Alice Holt, which is run by the Forestry Commision. It rained on and off all day, but we managed to miss the heavy rain and were in trees for the light stuff. The cubs had a great time and learnt a little about different types of trees.
