Bonfire night
Well went over to Gomshall last Friday Evening to help the Shere & Peaslake Scout Group run their Bonfire Night. Well J-W was doing the First Aid rounds and I was riding in his pocket, as it was rather cold. The fire works were good, and J-w said the bergers were ok.

14th to 15th July 2006, Albury Heath, one night. A Produce Show is held on the Cricket Pitch every year and the Shere & Peaslake Scouts help run it, and this year they slept over. Got to meet the Third Lord Baden Powell of Gilwell, who was awarding the prizes at the show. 15th to 16th July 2006, Bentley Copse, one night. J-W was working at Bentley as well as doing the Show, so it was easier to sleep over at Bentley Copse on the Saturday Night. 22 nights away.

Scout Fete
Mood:

Well had the Scout Fete and Car Boot Sell on Sunday. It was rather hot. I got photographed trying to nick a bit from J-W's rather large icecream cone.

Llamas
Mood:
caffeinated
Last evening J-W tried to sneak off on his bike, going to Cubs on a non Cubs night. So I snuck into the cycle bags. We ended up on St. Marthia's Hill. Then 25 cubs from Shalford and Shere & Peaslake turned up, as did FIVE llamas. We then went for a wander around the hill with them. There should be some photos to follow.

Activities
Mood:
not sure
Been out a bit this month, 6th May Friday J-W was helping Trina from Shere and Peaslake do archery with her Scouts in the evening. I went along to meet up with my fans from S&P. I was asked after by a couple of them. On the 7th we were doing archery again, but all day this time for the Cubs of the district. One short shower only. Saturday 20th, went to Alice Holt, which is run by the Forestry Commision. It rained on and off all day, but we managed to miss the heavy rain and were in trees for the light stuff. The cubs had a great time and learnt a little about different types of trees.

7th to 9th April 2006. 2 nights, Ferny Crofts with Cub Scouts from Childon and Shalford. 10th to 12th April 2006. 2 nights, New Forest Backing with 46 Scouts. Total 20 nights away. J-W has had to change the badges on my camp blanket. Well you try sewing when you have no fingers.
Backpacking
Mood:
lazy
Ok who's idea was it to go back packing the day after the camping with the Cubs. I was half asleep and J-W's legs were not working quite right. Also he had to reload his bag with different bits and pieces. Why do humans have to take all of this food stuff? My total equipment list, was my camp blanket, and a pocket to ride in. We had to take 46 Scouts and 8 other leaders with us. We went by train down to the New Forest and spent the first night at the same camp site, and the second at the Guide National Training Centre. Had rain for half of the second day. Some of the scouts seemed to like lying down in the boggy bits, I'm not sure why.
Easter Holidays

7th Friday to the 9th Sunday, April 2006. Camping with 18 Cub Scouts from two packs, at Ferny Crofts in the New Forest, Hampshire, England. Well I got to sleep in with J-W in his tent, I did not have to go in with the Cubs, like some of the unlucky Teady Bears. Had a good egg and beacon sandwich for breakfast on the fist morning. There was a strong frost the second morning. A bit of problem with rain when putting the tents up and down.
