05/08/01 Well the big movie is the mummy returns.
I just saw part of the first on a friends DVD.
The has a small collection and enjoys them as well as cable shows.
He says the early shows, from the 30s(?), may be on cable
in October. I wonder what the recording media will be in the future.
A semiconductor chip storage or a crystal like Superman had at the Solitude.

10/21/2000 What a time to catch up, where did the millenium go.
I have added to the web site by sequential indexXX.html pages.
Would like to have a better approach and make acessible sections.
This is now the top of the section on this page.
I may keep the present index.html and add to the internal pages.
Presently, if an internal page was not updated or new page generated,
additions were made to index.hml until it was cut down to a minium
with most of it going to index02 ..01 ..00 ..1 ..2 and so on.

Predictions or views, lets do that.
The year is almost over and Microsoft has turned around. Napster hit
the web seen big. Still operating to find a song to put on the computer.
Many on the web have put their library of from 700 to 1000 songs.
You still might not find what you want.

12/30/99 The Late Show had the Farmers Almanac on the show and gave
a hint for VCR use: use 1972 for the dates. I thought it was 1973
or maybe I heard him wrong. I will generate these calendars to check.
Perhaps I will post them here. Just checked: 1972 gives 2000 months.

11/23/99 As I mentioned before, the 1973* calendar has the same image
as year 2000. On a PBS TV show, NOVA perhaps, that solution
is being use on old mainframe computers, with input and
output being translated by PCs or new computers.
Just to play it safe I suppose, or they know the old programs
won't work or the clock won't work.
Using 1973* on PCs won't work since the clock starts in the 80's.
