Random Act of Kindness of the Month
May 2006
P.S. 279 Rosalie Azzopardi Teacher - Grade 3 This month's Random Act of Kindness award goes to Jasseem McLord. Jasseem has really made an effort to improve his attitude toward school and it shows. I am very proud of him and enjoy having him in our class. Claxton Elementary School Stacey Caskey Teacher - Grade 4 Our RAOK honoree for this month is Arian. Arian is moving next week, but he has made his mark as a good friend to everyone here at Claxton. Steele School Scott Stolzenberg Teacher - Music April showers bring May flowers and based on the Steele School student council, our school garden will be blooming and blossoming any day! The devoted members of our student body spent many hours in our school garden raking, hoeing and planting dozens of beautiful flowers to make our school an even more special place to learn and grow. We recognize all the talented gardeners and landscapers from Steele School and pretty soon, I'm sure we'll have Steele magnolias! P.S. 279 Harriet Stolzenberg Teacher - computer lab I would like to honor Sara, from class K-A124. While working on her assignment she noticed that the person next to her was having problems before I did. She just stepped right in and guided her classmate through the procedure. She kept checking on her friend to make sure she knew what to do. What a wonderful example Sarah set for all of us to follow.
