This
month Random Act of Kindness award goes to Iyanni
Callender of class 3-204. She showed great kindness to
her classmates by bringing in a special treat of oatmeal
cookies to share. Everyone enjoyed them and they were
delicious! Thanks to Iyanni class 3-204 had an enjoyable
break from all of our hard work.

Literacy Staff Developer
I
would like to recommend Olivier from 3-A326 Ms. Kadlec's
class for the Random Act of Kindness of the month award.
The children were taking The E-PAL assessment and
so many of them needed pencils. Olivier saved the day by
bringing over 12 pencils to school. He gave them out to
anyone who needed it. So many children thanked him and so
do I. Way to go....Olivier. You truly are
amazing.

Stacey Caskey
Teacher - grade 2
I'd like to honor my whole class. We only have a couple
of days of school left, but I wanted them to know how
proud I have been of them all year. We went through a
very rough time together and they showed how wonderful
they all are :)

Harriet Stolzenberg
Teacher - computer lab
I would like to honor a young man from 5-317 for the
Random Act of Kindness award. On his own accord, Kareem
circled the room to help his classmates complete the
assignment. He had finished his work previously and was
free to choose how he spent his computer time. Instead of
thinking of himself, he decided to help his classmates so
they could have free time in the lab. Not only did he do
a great job on his assignment, but he proved to be a
thoughtful student too!

Karianne
is a talented fifth grader getting ready to graduate
Milburn School. This outstanding leader devoted all
of her spare time towards gathering items for our
"hygiene drive." Students in the school donated
bars of soap, bottles of shampoo, tubes of toothpaste and
toothbushes too! Karianne collected and sorted hundreds
of items which will be distributed to needy people who
can't afford them. Her kindness and caring will make the
less fortunate both clean and happy to know that someone
cares about their wellbeing!
