The earth has three parts. The crust, the mantle, and the core. The crust is 4-25 miles deep. It was made of rock that floated up when the earth was molten. The mantle is molten rock and has most of the earth’s material. The core is 4,500 miles across. It is made of iron and nickel. The outer core is liquid and the inner core is solid. It’s temp. is 9,000 degrees Farenheit.
