Day 11
Friday June 30, 2017
We were up early again but skipped the pool. Having spent all day here yesterday we had enough yesterday. In room breakfast (which most of this trip was) with the food we've been buying at the grocery store.

We were now ready for the day and hit the casino for a while. Today we started off by playing 10 play. I hit aces twice, 2 straight flushes, got dealt a quad and hit various other quads. You would think this is a great session but somehow I dropped $500. I was pretty pissed off about this so took a short walk out on the river walk. I came back and dropped another $100 in a matter of minutes and quit. During this time Dee was hovering for most of the time and then like a vacuum cleaner dropped $300 in minutes. Down $900 we took a break for lunch up in the room with the food we had in the fridge.

After lunch we hit the machines again and chose Super Times Pay. It was rough for me but then I watched 7777 come up and on the 5th card the STP symbol came up. Holy crap, I've already got a dealt quad and now a multiplier. Only got 3x but it was a nice hit a 375 coins per line times 5 lines. We had enough action on my card so we cashed out and switched to Dee's with a $300 win.

Now on her card I couldn't hit a thing. I very quickly dropped $500 more while she hovered. I was aggravated that I had another great hand and minutes later it was gone. Losing is one thing but we were losing way too fast and struggling to get any action.

Dee continued to play and I went in search of dice. I bought in at the craps table and it wasn't a good table. I got paid only 3 times winning 2 line bets and one place bet. I dropped $300 here in 15 minutes.

I went back and checked on Dee and she was losing but not getting killed. She switched off of STP to regular triple play. I went in search of blackjack. I found a $25 table with 3-2 pay outs. This was a good table and I was getting dealt good hands with the dealer getting low totals and busting. I couldn't hit a double down hand to save my life but the other hands were good. I was up over $600 before things started getting choppy. I got out with a $400 win.

Back over in Dee's world she was losing again. Her triple play busted out and she'd dropped another $100.

We played a few penny slots for some fun with no good results. One machine was ok letting us play for a while and breaking even.

We took a break up in the room for a while and got ready for dinner.

We headed out of the Aquarius and to Harrah's. I had a 2 night reservation there which I booked in order to get the perks. Those being $100 food credit and $125 free play. I checked in at the diamond/7* room and was assigned room 12118. This is actually a suite. It's the standard layout for most suites here with a living room that had a table and chairs, couch, TV, wet bar area and end table. The bedroom is standard with a king bed, night stands, dresser and TV. The bathroom is 2 rooms with the vanity and Jacuzzi and small TV from 1983 mounted on the wall. The second room has the toilet and shower. The room has a view of the parking lot, adult pool and river.

We didn't need the room but went up to check it out and put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door so housekeeping wouldn't enter.

I had a reservation for the four of us at the Range Steakhouse at 5pm.It was time for dinner so we headed over to the Range. The reservation was in order and we were seated near the window as requested.

I ordered the 10oz prime rib and a side of au gratin potatoes. Dee ordered the Pasta Diablo. My food was good. Dee said hers was excellent.

When the bill came it was $207. Between the $100 food credit and a large supply of reward credits we covered the bill with no problem and headed out.

We came back down to the Aquarius to get a little more play on Dee's card. The bank we like to play on was pretty full so she played triple/five play and I played 9/6 jacks single line for halves. I was doing well and I hit 2 quads one of course being aces. Dee hovered for a while but then got whacked. I was doing well getting the meter up by over $100 and as has been the theme started going 10-15 hands in a row without a pay out. Hit a pair of jacks and lose 120 more. Between us another $300 was gone.

We took one more shot with and Spin Poker with Super Times Pay. We played airport deuces for dimes. It was a rough start with few multipliers. Then when they'd show up we'd whiff. Early on I had 7 multipliers and whiffed on 5 of them, got 20 coins on another and 180 and the last. We got a good amount of play but just couldn't land anything good when we got a multiplier. We dropped another $400 between us here.

We went back to jacks or better for quarters for Dee to run her $260 free play through. It started off well with her hovering +/- $20. Then in the last $30 or so she needed to run off lost almost every hand. She turned to $260 into $200 and we were done playing for the day.

Total Coin In for the day $32,286
