Day 12
Tuesday December 20, 2016
Today we were going to start with breakfast upstairs at Giada but it was closed. Instead we went over to the Linq and went to Guy Fieri's Vegas. Dee had French Toast with Maple Bacon and Bananas. I had the chicken fried bacon and scrambled eggs on a biscuit with country gravy. The flavors of this were really good but it was really rich and unhealthy!

After breakfast we got our tickets for being diamond and 7*. We chose Mac King for tomorrow at 1pm and Bronx Wanderer's at Bally's for tomorrow at 5:30pm.

Next up we went over to the Pinball Hall of Fame. This is always a good time and and inexpensive way to spend a few hours. Dee didn't want to play today so stayed out in the car and read her book and played on my tablet. A few hours later we left here and took the drive out to Henderson to pick up the laundry.

We came back tot he Cromwell and went over to the Linq for tonight's show. We were early so instead went over to Harrah's diamond lounge for a small dinner. Tonight they had salad offerings, pasta with Italian Sausage and Sweet and Sour Chicken with rice as well as some desserts. The food was pretty good for mass produced crap to keep the masses filled up.

It was time to go to the Mat Franco. The show is pretty good and he's entertaining. He does do some “off the shelf” magic tricks but does some unique things as well. He also does some twists on old tricks we've all seen and even a few spins on some Penn and Teller bits. It's not hard to see why he won America's Got Talent as he was entertaining. My only issue is that his ticket prices are about the same as Penn and Teller. My suggestion would be is you want to see a magic show in this price range, Penn and Teller would be the way to go. Not to take anything away from Mat but personally don't think he's nearly as good as they are and his ticket prices shouldn't be the same as theirs.

We left Linq and headed back to the Cromwell. When we got back I decided I would play some craps for a while on their 100x odds table and Dee came to the room. This was a hot table until I got to it. Then it went to shit. It was cold with lots of 7's. I was actually down to my last bet and had the dice. I hit my point of 8 for the first point since I got to the table. Then a don't bettor came to the table and I took him for a good chunk of change too. I finally went out and then he got the dice. He shot from the dark side and rolled the dice upwards of 20 times hitting lots of numbers and even a couple of points. I was back at this point and continued to play. From here the table got pretty good although not great. I did get my money back and then some. It's just too bad that it didn't start out hot instead of ice cold as I would have won a lot more money. I won another $400 tonight after 2 hours of play.
