Day 6 Thursday December 18, 2003

Dining:
Had dinner over at the Luxor in the Pyramid Café. I had the soup of the day, which was beef barley soup. For my meal I picked the Chicken potpie. It was excellent but over priced at $10.75. Service seemed rather slow tonight as well although the place wasn’t that busy.

Gaming:
I went over to the Luxor to see if they had any decent video poker that I could play in order to get onto their mailing list. The best games I was able to find were 8/5 bonus in quarters but they were all painfully slow. They were so slow that they were putting me to sleep so I moved on to try something else. That something else was a slot machine. I almost never play slots but I decided to play just for something different. I moved from machine to machine playing a little at each one. I hit everything from double diamond, wild cherry, and a few bonus slots too. I actually got quite a bit of play doing this but in the end dropped in the area of $60

After returning to the Hard Rock from the Luxor I took a quick break and then went to the craps table. This turned out to be the craps table from hell. I’ve seen some pretty bad tables and this one had to take the cake. Very few people hit their points and it seemed most went out on their 4th roll. This kills me because at that point I have a line bet and 2 come bets with full odds. Like an ass I kept playing and lost my ass in the process. I think it might be time to give up craps for a while. It seems my wins are no where near as frequent or as large as my losses are.
