Today I had another session in the slot tournament over at Bally’s. Today I was also at 2:20pm but have machine #2. I didn’t do well this session. No jackpots and I only saw 2 jackpot symbols twice and they were pretty much worthless. I decided not to hang around for the wild card drawing at 3:45pm. Instead I went to go play games at the Pinball Hall of Fame where I hung out for a few hours like I always do. With a quick stop at Jack in the Box for a quick and cheap lunch! Again today at the Pinball Hall of Fame my favorite machine broke. It was a different issue this time but damn, I’m not having any luck with this game!

When I was done playing Pinball I went back over to South Point to get a little more play on their 5-play machines and to cash in my points for some gas cards on the great promotion they are running. I pretty much got hammered tonight playing bonus poker on these machines. I actually dropped the first $100 in less than 4 minutes. The bleeding continued and I dropped a wad on these machines tonight. All said and done I’m still up playing on this promotion after the nice hit I had a few days ago.

I was going to quit for the night but though I’d take a chance and play some blackjack. I sat in at a dead $10 double deck game and played 2 hands of $25 each. Initially the dealer was tough only breaking 1 time on 3 decks. Things leveled off and I held steady for a while. A few other players came to the game that were all together and having a good time. One guy, that I wanted to smack, bought in for $40 and only bet the $10 minimum the whole time had close to $400 in front of him when I colored up. Oh yeah, after 3 hours I colored up with a $25 win after being down as much as $500.

I got a comp from the pit for the Coronado Café. They gave me a full dinner comp with no dollar cap on it. I haven’t had one of these in a long time. I was able to order an appetizer, entrée, dessert, and beverage. I started with mozzarella sticks as my appetizer. For the entrée I had the pot roast and that came with potato, vegetables, and soup or salad. I chose the soup and tonight that was turkey tortellini. The pot roast wasn’t that good but everything else was. For dessert I got strawberry cheesecake and took it to go along with the sticks. The service again was mediocre at best but a little better than it was the other night when I was in there. The total bill with all of this food was only $22, a much better deal than the rip off Le Café at Paris.

I got back to Paris at about 3am and packed up some of my stuff for the next move.
