TWATW is a virtual charity, created in order to provide a place for sex industry workers to meet and share their experiences. Out of that has grown the need to provide links to some services such as counselling and career developments strategies. Others have written in desiring to donate to the work of liberating bond-slave SI workers in developing countries (go to International links below) or promoting health and rights education in their own country. Our aim is not to judge those involved in the industry but to improve their standard of living. Our hope is that in raising awareness of issues we would stimulate some to move on from this industry towards an independent future.
The scripture John 4:9-29 was chosen as our inspirational text as it shows Christ reaching out to someone to whom no others would. She did not come to Him with great faith, rather she avoided his questions and challenged his views of God. Yet Christ was there for her and proved he knew where she was at. That moved her on from there and led a great number of people to seek His Love as well.
Most of all we wish that TWATW will help many to feel the acceptance and love of God through the outreaching hands of the Body of Christ.
