My father-in-law went to the Grace of Allah this morning at Davao City hospital...He was such a great loss to all of us...he will remain in our hearts forever and even though I had only few times spent with him, I learned to love him so much, it really hurts not seeing him during his last hours on earth but patience is the only solution since this is our fate.

For this past few days, we just roamed around Kuwait looking for nothing...:D or let me say looking for something interesting, we went to marina park in Salmiya to let our son ride his bike there while we enjoyed sight seeing every corner of Kuwait and inhaling the cool yet warm (?) summer breeze.

Lat weekend we also went to the newly opened Lulu Hypermarket in Rai and it was very crowded, it took us almost 20 minutes to park our car. We just went there to evaluate what made them difference from the other store or mall here in Kuwait and all I can say is, well, it was good and better than nothing, the prices were competitive rather. My hubby bought something there to make us all fit and sexy (I'm gaining too much fat now), a competitor bench and its accesories. Hence, I spent my vacant times at home exercising to flatten my tummy ( I used to have 24 inches and now its secret! hehe).

We have a very good climate now in Kuwait, nice to go outing anytime that's why we always went to the seasides every afternoon with our son this past few days.

Since the Lulu was already opened, we are waiting now for the Carrefour to open so that we can window shop there :D, they will be opening soon and it's very near in our home.

Kuwait's National and Liberation Day

The last 2 days, Feb. 25 and 26 were Kuwait's holidays, first was the National Day and second was the Liberation Day. So, it's our office day-off also for 2 days. We went to the seaside for the 1st day to take our lunch there and we grilled some chicken and seafoods also. Our little Azhfaar enjoyed playing with his soccer ball in the sand. It's spring season already and the weather is really great for bar-b-quing outdoors.

At night, we went out also to witness the Kuwaitis celebrating the holidays, we can see colorful lights in most of the buildings, towers and everywhere.

On the second day, we just stayed at home and spent the whole day sleeping and lying in bed, lol :).

I Miss Eating Crab!

My mother sent an SMS to me this morning saying that she just arrived home from one of our fishpond because she harvested the crabs there, I felt hungry while I was reading her message and it made me miss to eat crabs so much. I remember the day during our last vacation when we went to the fishpond and we ate boiled crabs as much as we could, almost all our viand daily were crabs. The crabs here in Kuwait are different variety, it doesn't taste so good. Anyway, we are planning to have a vacation this coming month of Ramadhan Insha Allah to eat crabs there. LOL :)

I'm glad that the season now in Kuwait is getting hotter, I'm not wearing jacket anymore, I think it is Spring season already. We are planning to go the park this afternoon with my hubby and our little Azhfaar to let him play and ride in his bike. We miss outdoor grilling already especially in the seaside but I think the climate is not suitable for outdoor grilling yet since it is still a little bit colder in the beach. Oh...I am longing for the summer breeze already.
