Topic: What's Up
It's 18-14 degrees in Kuwait, I know few days from now it will drop below 10 degrees since it is December already, it's getting colder and colder and I am freezing already. :) Yesterday we went to the seaside to gather some clams with my cousin Fattoum, it was a clams attack, I never did this things in Philippines but here in Kuwait, we do it for fun and of course we want to eat fresh clams soup also. Our son Azhfaar was also with us, I just let him sit at the rocks in the seashore while we were gathering the clams. I regret that I did not able to take a picture for him since my camera was in the car. I cannot concentrate since he was always calling me when I was 5 meters away from him, lol! Gathering clams or any shells are really fun especially when there were plenty of them. We always do it during weekends or holidays when we don't know what to do at home and no extra money to go for shopping! LOL :)

Eid at Seaside!
Topic: What's Up
We went to seaside last Wednesday,3rd day of Eid, the last holiday, my husband said he wanted to take our lunch there, I was not prepared since he told me late already, almost 11:00 in the morning. So I suggested to drop by at the fish market to buy some shrimps there so that we can grill it and he said it's a good idea. So I brought some seaonings and spices for the grilling.

The weather was very good since it's autumn season in Kuwait nowadays, it's very perfect to grill outdoors. If he told me earlier then probably I can marinate chicken for barbeque but it was already late. Anyway we still had the shrimps to grill. My husband prepared the charcoal while I prepared the shrimps. I made a slit to the back of each shrimps, then I mixed light soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, minced onion and red chili powder together. I rubbed the slits of every shrimps from the olive oil mixture, then I grilled it for few minutes until done. We made the remaining mixture as our dipping sauce, then we ate our lunch while savoring the cool yet warm autumn breeze. Our son Azhfaar fall asleep afterwards.

We stayed there until Azhfaar woke up at about 3:30, after that we decided to go the new shopping center in Farwaniya, I did not able to visit there since it was open few months ago.

Farewell Ramadan
Topic: My Thoughts
Today is the last day of Ramadan here in Kuwait, the crescent was not sighted last night so we must have to complete the 30 days of fasting. Tomorrow will be Eid al-Fitr, our holidays will be 3 days, thanks I have more time to relax at home, I know these 3 days will not be enough but at least there will be holidays after the 30 days of fasting and sleepless nights.

It's sad to think that Ramadan will be gone few hours from now, I wonder what news it will report to the Almighty about my deeds for the past 30 days, I hope it will be good Insha Allah. Actually this is the best Ramadan that I ever had eversince, I hope that more Ramadan will come my ways in the years to come...all I can say is Bye Ramadan, I will wait for your return next year Insha Allah.

Topic: Short Stories
Oh, I miss posting in this blog, I was out of town for a week with my hubby, our son and my sis Jong, a very tiring journey but the most pleasant and rewarding one. Lots of works welcomed me in office when I arrived, so there was no enough time to blog. It's last 10 days of Ramadhan also, we had a very little sleep at night. Anyway, I just want to share this 2 nice stories, I hope you will learn something from it as I did:

LIFE IS NOT A COINCIDENCE………IT’S A REFLECTION OF YOU!
A boy and his father were walking in the mountains. Suddenly, the boy fell, hurt himself, and screamed “aaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!” To his surprise, he heard the voice repeating, somewhere in the mountain,

“Aaahhhhhhhhhhh” curious, he yelled: “who are you?” he received the answer: “who are you?”
Angered at the response, he screamed:
“Coward!” He receives the answer:
“Coward!”

He looked to his father and asked:

“What’s going on?” The father smiled and said: “My son, pay attention.”
And then he screamed to the mountain:

“I admire you!” The voice answered:
“I admire you!” Again the man
Screamed: “you are a champion!”
The boy was surprised, but did not understand. Then the father explained: “People call this “ECHO”, but really this is LIFE. It gives you back everything you say or do.
Our life is simply a reflection of our actions.
If you want more love in your heart. If you want more competence in your team, improve your competence. This relationship applies to everything, in all aspects of life; Life will give you back everything you have given to it.”

Did you get a bill from Allah?
A man reached 70 years of age and he faced a disease, he could not urinate. The doctors told him that he needs an operation to cure this disease. He agreed to do the operation as the problem was giving him much pain for days. When the operation was completed, his doctor gave him the bill which covered all the costs. The old man looked at the bill and started to cry.

Upon seeing this the doctor told him that if the cost is too high then they could make some other arrangements. The old main said "I am not crying because of the money but I am crying because Allah let me urinate for 70 years and He never sent me a bill."

We rarely thank Allah for these things which are indeed great favours.
