JCHS SNSI: CDR John W. Hutchison, USN (RET)
CDR Hutchison was born in Basin, Wyoming, where he was raised until attending college at Idaho State University, Pocatello, Idaho, where he participated in varsity track and wrestling. He recieved a Bachelor of Science degree in education and joined the Navy in 1968.
He also recieved the Navy Wings of Gold in 1970 as a pilot/naval aviator.
Tours of active duty included:
-Squadrons flying jet aircraft including training as "TOP GUN" adversary instructor pilot.
-A-4 Project Officer at McDonnell Douglass in Long Beach, California where he had oversight of production and flew acceptance test flights of A-4 aircraft.
- After a tour at the Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey, California, he recieved a Master of Science degree in Systems Acquistion management.
- Other tours included 3 years as an analyst for the Navy in the Pentagon and 5 years as the Planning Programming and Budgeting Officer for Commander, U.S.
Naval Forces Central Command (Handling Naval matters in the Persian Gulf area just prior to retirement).
After retirement, CDR Hutchison flew as a commercial airline pilot prior to joining the staff at JCHS.
He has two children and a handful of gorgeous grand-children.
JCHS ANSI:YNCS(SW)Linda K. Naki, USN(RET)
YNCS(SW) Naki was born in Brooklyn, New York and elisted in the U.S. Navy in October 1972. She attended basic training in Orlando, Florida and then received Yeoman "A" school training in San Diego, California. After completion of "A" school training she was assigned to Recruit Training Center in San Diego where she processed background investigations for new recruits. Her next assignment was with the Defense Intelligence Agency in Arlington, Virginia. She was then assigned to the U.S.S. Dixon and Commander, Naval Air Force Pacific Fleet, both in the San Diego area. Her next assignment was with the Shore Intermediate Maintenance Activity in Pearl Harbor. Senior Chief Naki was selected to attend Leadership, Management Education Training in Millington, Tennessee and then serve as an LMET instructor at the Amphibious Base, Little Creek, VA. From there she was assigned to the Defense Equal Opportunity Institute, Partick Air Force Base, Florida as an Equal Opportunity Advisor and Instructor. Her next sea duty assignment was on the U.S.S. Cape Cod in San Diego, California. Her final assignment brought her to 26 years of active service was at Naval Magazine, Lualualei, Hawaii.
YNCS(SW) Naki holds an Associates of Art Degree from St. Leo's college in Florida and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Behavioral Science from Chaminade University. She resides in Mililani with her husband Curtis and has two children, daughter Maria and son Richie both residing in San Diego, CA.
JCHS ANSI: CTOC(AW) GARY G. LAIRSEY, USN (RET)
Chief Lairsey was born December 22, 1949 in Waycross, Georgia. After graduation from High School, he attended South Georgia college prior to enlisting in the Navy.
After completion of basic training in Orlando, Florida and advanced training in cryptologic community, he was assigned to tours of duty in Virginia, Hawaii, Washington D.C., Washington, and Okinawa. Chief Lairsey spent a total of 4 tours in Hawaii spanning a period of 12 years. He transferred to the fleet Reserve on 30 September 1993. Chief Lairsy graduated from Chaminade University in December 1998 (BA in Education).
Cheif Lairsey resides in Wahiawa with his wife, Billie Ann. Their four children are Heidi, Jakob, Marie, and David.
