Depending on the situation, the Rain Gem can be benifical or dangerous. However, Sakura found that during his time of freedom that he prefered being dangerous. Rain has the power to make it rain for hours at a time. but he will need to stop so he can recharge. He also has the ability to change his staff (it has a crystal on the top resembling a raindrop) into a sword. His final power is to create blasts of acid like liquid that can eat through nearly anything. He takes on the form of a rain shamen
Rain's physical form appeared in Episode 8, but his powers had been in affect since Episode 6. Sakura faced him alone, and the battle caused her to use many of the cards. Finally, she used Freeze to stop him for a while before Ceaira showed up to seal him. The gem however, went to Sakura after returning to the sealed form. When summoned, Rain will unleash it's power to rain down on people or things, or it can attack with it's acid power.
