Class 11 - Judges Critique:
1st – P Spice/J Klok’s – Ch Bullvalour Jack The Ripa
This red dog caught my eye the moment he entered the ring.  Powerfully constructed, square skull from every angle, dark eyes set with the correct width.  Good ear set, desired bite, muscular well arched neck, wide deep chest let down well between forelegs.  Strong straight pasterns, correct compact short back, level topline, muscular loin.  Strong and muscular hind legs, with a good turn of stifle, perfect hock, cat like feet, correct tail set.  Movement was perfect, maintaining his topline.  Balanced, powerful, poetry in motion, for me, the absolute showman.  He owned the ground he was stood on, all this from a dog that is over 7 years of age.  His handler handled other dogs very well but this was perfection.  This dog was the one I wanted to take home, an honour to go over him and a pleasure to award him Challenge Dog. The icing on the cake f r me was to see him awarded Best Exhibit in Show.

2nd – B & K Marion’s – Ch Bramarley Brook Trees (Imp UK)
A good strong head, good reach of neck, compact short body with level topline. Good deep chest, standing on strong well boned legs.  Front and hindquarters well angulated, with a nice turn of stifle.  Good hocks and correct cat like feet.  Movement was true with power and drive.  A lady handler who showed this dog extremely well.

3rd – G Sparham’s – Ch Gameguard Bruelle
A well constructed fawn, well boned, good head with correct markings. Good neck, strong compact body, level topline maintained on the move.  Deep chest, good quarters, good stifle, sound cat like feet.  A powerhouse on the move with the movement being uniformed and true, very close to second place. And again a good handler showing this dog to its best attributes.
