Try Spring In Nova Scotia!
My name is Lyda. I have been chatting for a few years now, although I have been pretty slack about keeping up lately. I have been fortunate enough to meet many wonderful people and form friendships that will last a lifetime. Whether your tastes lean to rocky shorelines, quiet coves, long white sandy beaches, waterfalls, or quiet pathways, Nova Scotia has it all! (Yes, that is me enjoying the waterfall)

One thing we have no shortage of in Nova Scotia is lighthouses. Unfortunately now they are all automated, but there are some that can be visited like this one at Peggy's Cove. (That one is to entice Emily especially! I know how much she likes lighthouses.)
The Province is a great inspiration for painting. It provides me with many subjects. If you would like to see samples of my paintings, just click on the button below.
![]() I hope this site entices some of you to come on up! In case you wonder if you could see all of the pretty places shown here during your visit, the answer is a resounding yes! Nova Scotia is about 2 hours wide and eight hours long if you drive fast! You can see and enjoy a great deal of it in a week. It would leave you wanting to come back for more I promise! PS To all my friends, I make a pretty good tour guide too!

Besides my interest in art, I have another time consuming hobby. I am working on a book (my first attempt). It is a novel about love, life's problems and life's joys with, big surprise, a couple who meet online. (They say write what you know! LOL) I have it about 80 percent completed, and it is my most fervent wish to have it published one day.
