This
is the first Federation Starship Enterprise made famous for
Captain Kirk's five year mission of exploration.
After a 10-year hiatus from building models, this was the first model to get me back into the hobby. This model was built straight out of the box with no modifications, putty work or sanding, and was painted using a spray can, as I did not yet have an airbrush.
This
is the commissioning plaque for the USS Enterprise. The ship was
commissioned in 2245 under the command of Capt. Robert April.
