The
USS Defiant was Starfleet's first warship design. Officially, it
was designated an escort.
This model was built straight out of the box with no modifications, but it did require a fair amount of putty work and sanding due to a poor fit in some areas of the pieces.
The base color is Light Ghost Gray. Medium Gray, Dark Ghost Gray and Intermediate Blue make up most of the detail panels.
The
second starship Defiant was constructed in Mars orbit under Lt.
Cmdr. Benjamin Sisko and officially launched from the Antares
Ship yards.
