Model Specifications:

Although the paint instructions for this model were pretty much the same as the larger 1/1000 AMT/ERTL kit 8762 USS Enterprise-B model, I used the larger paint guide and photos of the Enterprise-B/Lakota studio model to help me paint this model.
The most difficult aspect of this model was matching the secondary
color on the hull. Unlike the USS Excelsior with the dark blue secondary
color, the Enterprise-B was more of a teal or greenish-blue.
I couldn't find an exact match with any of the model paints available to me, so I ended up mixing various
colors until I got a shade of a greenish blue color that I liked:
- approx 10 parts Humbrol 65 Matt Aircraft Blue
- approx 5 parts Testors 1162 Matt Sky Blue
- approx 3 parts Testors 1124 Green
- approx 1 part Testors 1111 Blue
