Now where was I... oh right, I think I had just finished explaining about my messed up family. So in order to let you in on the last little bit of my life, well at least part of it, time to explain about the 3 main parts of my social life, Erin, Brooke, and last but not least Marie. These would be my closest buds, the ultimate best anyone could ever have. Sure we have our differences, and we may get in a tiff from time to time, but we will always stick together.
I'll start with Miss Mature, Erin Nicole Hods. We have been best buds since pre-school. She was born 2 months after me, Which makes me older, but somehow I think she's a little more mature than me, she's gone through a lot more than me. She has one brother, Sam, who's 12 and hangs with my brothers Troy and Rory. She takes care of him most of the time, because her mother is always out or at work, and her dad lives in Colorado. Her parents split when she was 3 1/2, and her mom moved them here right before Erin turned 4 and just after Sam was born. Sometimes I feel a bit sorry for her, but then I realize that to her that's just the way it is and always has been so she's used to it, just like I'm used to having 7 siblings.
Erin's really pretty, wavy light brown hair with blond streaks, deep brown eyes, 5'6, and a "perfect" size 6-7. If she wasn't my best friend, I'd be incredibly jealous, not that I'm saying I don't look good, I'm not complaining but I'm no supermodel either. Erin goes riding with me and Jess all the time, but she's not the surfing type.
Next up is the sporty Brooke Caitlyn Shay. Erin and I met Brooke in first grade, and they hit it off right away, whereas I was guarded at first, but within a week I felt like I'd known her all my life. Brooke's incredibly easy to get along with, and a great surfing partner. She is so into sports though, she's on our school's Basketball team as well as the soccer team, and surfing after school, at least 3 times a week.
Brooke's from a more well off family. Fine I'll say it, just plain filthy rich, and if it wasn't for Brooke being so easy to get along with, you'd think she was a snob. Actually unless you saw her house or met her mother, you'd never even know that she wasn't the same family "status" as the rest of us.
Brooke and Erin could be long lost sisters from how much they look alike. The only difference is that Brooke has green eyes and like I said Erin's are brown.
Now it's time for the amazing Marie Selene Miguel. Her parents moved here from Spain right before Marie was born, and I'm really glad they did. The 3 musketeers (Erin, Brooke and I) met Marie halfway through grade 1. Marie is the most loyal of us all, when we have a tiff, she's the one to fix it up, and she never takes sides, which can get on your nerves if you really want something, or if you think you're right when you're not. She's extremely shy though.
Marie has waist length jet black hair, dark brown eyes, 5'5 and wears a size 6. She's very good looking, or as the guys around our school say, just damn sexy. Yet somehow Marie is very modest about the way she looks, she's more concerned with her grades. She definitely doesn't need to worry though, she tutors the rest of us at least once a week, and the lowest mark she's ever gotten is a B-, and that was an 81%, so she wasn't going to complain.
I think that's all I need to say about those 3 for now. But you'll definitely be hearing about them later on.
