Nick sat in the front row watching Alex's sound check, watching as she swayed her body in a sexual way, teasing him. Nick knew she was doing this on purpose due to the evil look on her face.
"You really love her don't you?" A voice startled Nick. Nick looked up and saw Trinity standing there smiling at him.
"Yeah. Is it that obvious?" Nick chuckled, then motioned for Trinity to sit down beside him.
"Kinda. But, if you are in love with Alex, why did you lead my sister on?" Trinity asked.
"Well, there was a lot more to the reason for me and Serenity getting together then I want to share with anyone, and I'm sure that the first chance she gets, Serenity will use them to blackmail me, my family or even Alex."
"So, you never loved my sister?"
"No. I'm ashamed of getting with her to cover my feelings for Alex, but at the same time I feel guilty to Alex because I felt as if I cheated on her using Serenity."
"Oh. So you are trying to make it up to Alex?"
"I don't know if I'll go that far, because we really weren't together, but the fact that the 2 of us got back together is enough for me to stop feeling so guilty. I love her more then anything and I would easily give up my whole career to make the choice I wanted to 3 years ago."
"What happened 3 years ago?"
"We were forced to break up because of our careers. You see, Alex used to open for us, and well, when I was time for her to go back to America to record her album, we were told by our PRs that for it to be better on our images, instead of lying to the public, like what we had been doing for the three years we were together, we should just break up."
"What would happen if you didn't?"
"Both our contracts with Jive would be terminated, as well as the rest of the boys. And a possibility that we wouldn't be able to get a contract with any of the other record companies."
"But wasn't your love enough that you would give it all up then?" Trinity questioned.
"Back then we were only 17. We weren't sure if the right path to choose was the path of our love, or our love of performing. But If I was faced with the same decision tomorrow, I would tell my managers and PR's and all the people to go fuck them selves and leave the 2 of us alone."
"Are you sure Alex would go with that? maybe she would give the love up again?"
"I talked to her last night. And we have mutual feelings on that subject." Nick laughed.
"Are you going to ask her to marry you?"
This question caught Nick by surprise.
He looked of to see a smiling Trinity.
"Wh...wh...what?" Nick stuttered.
"You sound like you love her enough to propose to her tomorrow, and you know she'll except." Trinity smiled.
"I....I....Well, I have thought about how nice it would be." Nick blushed, just imaging Nickolas and Alexa Carter.
"Well, I think the feeling is mutual between you and her on that one too." Trinity whispered in Nick's ear and then stood and walked away.
Nick looked up to follow her with his eyes when he saw Alex walking towards him. That must have been the reason Trinity left.
"Hey Babe." Alex spoke softly and wrapped her arms around Nick's shoulders before giving him a long passionate kiss.
"I love you." Nick whispered, as content as could be, many thoughts playing in his mind.
"I love you too, always." Alex whispered just as quiet.
