Sept. 9th 2000/Track: Immokalee Regional Raceway 1/8th mile, Immokalee, Fl/
This time was going to be my first attempt at a nitrous pass in about 6months.  I was only jetted for a 75shot but I had a felling I had a really good fill on my bottle.  My first pass I purged the nitrous and tried to launch like I usaully do at about4500rpm dumping the clutch.  Needless to say as soon as the car moved the nitrous hit and it spun the tires all through first.  But to my suprise I ran a 7.93@87 with a 1.80 60" ( I was shocked to find out I ran about the same 60" spinning on juice as I do hooking on the motor.)  My next pass I didn't purge hoping that the nitrous would take a little longer to hit.  I was right it did take a little longer to hit but it wasn't long enough.  As soon as the car started to stretch the suspension the nitrous hit and spun the tires again! To the same tune spinning the tires to a 1.83 60" and 7.96@87.  I quite running nitrous for the rest of the nite do to the fact it was a bracket race night and I wasn't about to wastes some nitrous in a bracket race.

Sept. 1st 2000/Track: Immokalee Regional Raceway 1/8th mile, Immokalee, Fl/
I added some skinnies, removed some under hood bracing and removed the side moldings for this trip to the track.  My first pass was a 8.13@84 which made me happy dropping my time at all with those little changes.  On my next pass I ran a 8.10@84 on a 1.79 60".  That ended up being my best pass of the evening.  Other mustangs running around the same times where cutting 1.75-1.65 60" with ET streets.

July 21st 2000/Track: Immokalee Regional Raceway 1/8th mile, Immokalee, Fl/
I ran for my first time a 1/8th mile only track and my first time down here in Fl.  I got some great traction.  On 1.899 60" I was pulling the tire about 3".  My best 60" of the night were my best ever with a 1.79 on my 8.17@83 and a 1.80 on my 8.19@83 passes.  The track was hooking good and so were my Drag radials.  No bad reports this time out and no changes to anything on the car.

Mar. 5th 2000/Track: Virginia Motorsports Park, Dinnwiddie, Va/
I got to try out my new mods this year. Replaced clutch with stock type unit.  Explorer intake, pulley, Race magnum mufflers.  First, pass I got a 1.84 60" (best 60" for me on the motor) on my way to a 13.14 @ 104!  That was great since my goal was 12's on the motor.  My next pass was a 1.88 60" on the way to a 13.07 @ 104.  But that's all she had I messed up the rest of the day.  So, I never got my 12 second timeslip.  But I know the car has it in her.  I also got to way the car on the scales at VMP.  I have a race weight of 3050lbs!

Nov. 28th 1999/Track: Richmond Dragway, Richmond, Va/
I tried to get some passes in on the last opening of the year with the nitrous I just got finished hooking up early in the week.  My first attempt at a pass, I was stopped from making my pass after staging.  My heater core blew out durning my burnout and was leaking on the track (Damn it).  So, I scramble to bypass the heater core to make the next round of T/T only to find out they were so busy we would only get one T/T pass?  So, here I am going into the first round of eliminations and never making a pass with my nitrous.  So, I dial in for what I want to run (12.70) so I don't have to lift.  I get to the lanes and decided not to purge the nitrous so It would shock the tires right away.  I was hoping the slight delay would allow the DR's to hook good before it hit.  So, I launch at feels alright then the juice hits and all is fine until.  I think my tires are spinning because of the nitrous.  So, I grab 2nd (still spinning) I grab 3rd (still spinning) I grab 4th (what? still spinning).  I was baffled that I smoked the tires all the way up to 4th but the rear end didn't get squirelly?  Then I realized the clutch let go!  I got my timeslip and had my best ever 60" 1.790 but the rest of the pass was gone 15.3.  There is always next year and a new clutch.

Nov. 14th 1999/Track: Richmond Dragway, Richmond, Va/
Went to the track with no changes just hoping to maybe launch harder and shift faster.  Well, I didn't do very well.  It was maybe 10-15 degrees warmer than last weekend.  The best I could muster was a 13.68?  But I did cut my best 60" time of a 1.860 not much better but none the less.  I tried to launch at 4000+ on the DR's but it didn't work all that well.  It hook like a mad man intially but then it just came loose for a 1.9-- 60".  Maybe with some more practice I'll get the Dr's in the 1.7's.

Nov. 7th 1999/ Track: Richmond Dragway, Richmond, Va/
Today was the first time going to the track with my Homemade ramair, drilled front struts, and the 3.73's.  Needless to say, I'm happy with my results.  I set a new best in ET,MPH, and 60" with a 13.41@102 with a best 60" of 1.87.  Out of the five runs I made my slowest was a 13.60  I tried the 2nd gear burn out and heating the DR's longer and It must have worked because my slowest 60" of the day was 1.97.

Oct. 16th, 1999/ Track:Virginia Motorsports Park, Dinwiddie, Va/
Today was my first time with my stang at the track.  First time driving a stick at the track period.  I started the day out with a 14.00.  I had set a goal of at least a 14.20 for the day but that was out the window already.  My next run was a 13.85 which was my best time of the day.  I was cutting 2.0 60" times.  I kept bogging off of the line?  I backed my 13.85 up with a 13.86 and a 13.90.  I had FMS unequal length 1 5/8" headers, Off road H-pipe, Flowmasters, K&N, 275/50 15 BFG Drag radials, the free stuff and weight reduction.
