The Adventure will begin at a pre-arranged meeting point an easy 15 minute drive from all Albuquerque hotels. At the launch site passengers will receive a briefing from the pilot and an introduction to the Ballooning system. We recommend that you come for your flight wearing flat shoes and clothing (to cover arms and legs) suitable for the time of year should be worn.
The duration of the flight is approximately 1 hour. After landing you will be collected by the chase crew, who will bring passengers, pilot and Balloon back to the Launch site, so that passengers and spectators can reunite. The flight is then celebrated with a glass of Champagne, breakfast and the presentation of your flight certificates, signed by the pilot. The passengers will also recieve a FREE BALLOON T-SHIRT and FREE PHOTOGRAPHS of your balloon flight.
Hot Air Ballooning is an adventurous pastime, there are risks, and it is for this reason Hot Air Balloons operate within certain legal safety limits. For your safety and comfort, flights will only take place if the pilot is satisfied that the weather conditions will allow safe operation of the balloon. Although the weather may look fine it may not be suitable for flying. For this reason we recommend that you schedule your balloon flight at the beginning of your stay here in New Mexico so your flight can be rescheduled in case of bad weather.
