Become a hot air balloon pilot with our fast efficient training programs. We are one of New Mexico's largest and most respected training facilities.
Here in beautiful New Mexico we have pilot training all year round. Our private 10 hour course is $3,500.00 using one of our balloons, or $3,000.00 using your balloon. This course can usually be completed within two weeks. Our 10 hour commercial course is $3,500.00 using one of our balloons, or $3,000.00 in your balloon. These prices include intense flight instruction and FREE ON SITE ACCOMMODATIONS FOR YOU TO USE WHILE YOUR HERE. This is by no means a crash course or short cut to a license. It is an intense teaching method that developes a students skills much more rapidly, because of the constant daily attention and the location of the training. There are two reasons we can complete our pilot training courses in such a short time.
The first reason being the great New Mexico weather, and the second being the area that we teach in. It provides mutiple landing sites (10 to 15 landings per flight) instead of the one or two landing sites the other companies can offer.
If you would like to get a jump start on your studies we have a two CD set available. On CD One you will find the FAA written exam. On CD two are the questions and answers to the oral exam. The cost of the two CD set is $175.00 shipped priority mail.
We also have ground instruction available where we teach you one on one everything you need to know to pass the written and oral exams. The cost of this instruction is $500.00 for the private aeronautical knowledge school and $500.00 for the commercial aeronautical knowledge school.
We also have all of the major bands of balloons in stock for your flight training including Cameron, Aerostar, Lindstrand, Sky and Balloon Works. We always have a large selection of new or used balloons for sale.

To all commercial applicants recent changes in FAA regulations now require all commercial applicants to hold a minimum of a private hot air balloon license. (you can no longer go from student to commercial
you must first get your private license).
