News
4/5/01- Thanks to all 6 or so people who showed up to the show on Monday night. For those
of you who didn't show up.....you missed the last Someone Else's Problem show ever.
We are all still great friends with each other, but due to some creative differences,
we feel that the band should end at this pinnacle. We appreciate all the support we have
received lately from all our friends here in Albuquerque and elsewhere. We had the chance
to meet a lot of great people and play with some great bands. None of us will ever forget
this. We thank you all, please keep supporting local shows, there are tons of great bands
around that need your support. Now take off, you hosers!

3/22/01-Updated the shows section, we've got a lot coming up. Summer tour is being
booked. If you can help us with any dates anywhere, get in touch.

3/5/01-Thank you to everyone who went to the show on Friday. It was an excellent
turnout
and we had lots of fun. So did Death By Stereo. The only thing we have coming up
soon is our friend Andrea's birthday party. Summer tour booking has begun, the dates will
be up soon. We hope to head all the way to the east coast and back. We will have new
shirts, buttons, and stickers available soon. Check out the show dates for an awesome
    upcoming show in June.

2/28/01-Wow, it's been a while since the last update. Everyone go to the show this Friday, it's
gonna be an awesome one. It'll be Scott's first show as our drummer, so come show some
support.  We have begun booking for our summer tour which will take us to the east coast,
through the midwest and back. It will be our longest tour so far, 6 weeks, and if anyone
books shows out there, or knows anyone that does, please get in touch with us if you can
help us out. We will have some winter tour photos up here some time soon as well as an
updated lyrics page. We're also working on some new band logos. That is about all for now
    see you all on Friday.

2/7/01- Hello, we just got a show put together for Death By Stereo. This show will be on
March 2nd at Insurgo. Everyone better be there, Death By Stereo is a great band. We
are planning on playing this show, it will be Scott's first show with the band. If for some
reason we feel we're not ready, we will pass the slot along to someone else. Everyone go
to the show though! The recording is almost finished and we'll have new lyrics posted
within the next day or two. Mario has moved away and we wish him the best of luck
with whatever he does, we'll miss him. Peace.

1/29/01- Thank you to everyone who went to Mario's farewell show. It went really well and
we all had a blast. We will be taking the month of February off to make things tighter with
our new drummer Scott Madden. We will be playing again soon, so don't you worry. We
are almost finished recording 7 new songs, all that is left is the vocals. If anyone is in the Albuquerque
area or is willing to come to visit Albuquerque for a day or two, and is willing to contribute to
the backing vocals on this new recording, send us an e-mail and we'll hook you up with the
    info.

1/19/01- Mario's Farewell show is on January 26th at Insurgo with Jaden, Fukrot, and
hopefully Last Day Parade. Everyone go to the show or else you'll never see Mario drum
for us anymore. It's a $4 show for 4 bands and there's a party at  our house after the show.

1/17/01- The Earth Crisis show is NOT happening anymore. Don't make plans to be there
anymore. We will probably have some sort of party/show type thing for Mario's last show,
we'll let you know when and where. Also, we are trying out a couple drummers right now,
if you're a drummer and think you're good enough and want to play with us, e-mail me
or call me. rpacheco@newmexico.com 505-881-7252. We need someone who is dedicated,
willing to practice a few times a week and go on long tours in the summer and winter. You also
must be willing to help out money-wise for band needs and must have your own equipment. No egos
    please.

1/15/01- Well, we just got back from tour a while ago. We had a blast, met some really cool
people and played with some really good bands. We are going into the studio this weekend
to begin recording all the songs we plan to release that haven't been recorded yet. These will go
toward a split 12" LP with Denver's Scott Baio Army. Also, these will be the last songs  recorded
with Mario as  our drummer as he is moving away to Minnesota in February. We will hopefully
be up and running again soon with a new drummer. There are rumors of a show we will be playing
with Earth Crisis (Victory Records) on February 2nd. I don't know if it's true or not, but it is might
be at the Launchpad. If this show happens, it'll probably be Mario's last show with us. Check
in later for information  on that. We will probably have some tour photos up on our pictures page soon.

12/24/00- Tour dates are up on the shows page! Go see us when we're in your area. Also,
we're playing a local show on Tuesday. Sort of an unofficial tour kickoff. Check it out!

12/17/00- Hey, sorry to everyone who went to the Denver show in hopes of seeing us play. Even
though I doubt anyone went for that specific reason. Garth has been ill with the flu for the past
week so we were not able to get up there and play the show. We're playing a show here in
Albuquerque on December 26th with Thee Illuminatix, Gary's Agenda, and Parkway Wretch,
all from Arizona and also the Warm Up Band from here is playing. We leave on tour in 10 days,
so keep an eye on the shows page for confirmed dates. Check us out when we're in your area.

11/9/00- Now today is Mario's birthday, finally 21. Happy birthday! Thanks to everyone who
went to the last few shows we had. Garth's arm is soon to be finished and we are working on
a list of every single show we've ever played to post on this website. Everyone come out to the
show on November 25th at Insurgo with Deadlock Frequency (Dave and Josh of the Messyhairs),
Scott Baio Army, and us. It'll probably be around 8:00 and will be no more than 5 bucks. Support
our friends who are coming down from Denver to play a show here with us. That's about all this time.
Winter tour is still being booked, you'll be updated with the tour dates soon. Also next year some time we
will have a split 7" out with Just Short of Living from Austin, TX.

10/21/00- Happy birthday to Roger. Big party tonight. Come to the Launchpad on Monday for
the show with Shutdown and One King Down. Since the last update, Roger got tattood again,
Garth got Kiss Alive figures into the store and Mario finally got a job. We are playing a show
at Insurgo, the new all ages space in town on November 7th with End On End and Flatus. Support
the scene and show up to this, all ages spaces tend not to last very long around here. That's about all
for now.....the bassist from Jaden has a really long tongue, he's like Gene Simmons and shit.

9/16/00- Wow, it's been a long time since we've updated this page. Let's see....what has
happened in the last month. Yuri got a new tattoo, Garth shaved, and school started up again
for Roger. Plans for a winter tour have begun, so check it out if you're in AZ, CA, and NV.
Hopefully this will go well, assuming Yuri won't be in jail. Thanks to everyone who came out
to the show lastnight, it was a fun time. Mario broke a bunch of sticks and Roger bled all
over the place. We don't have any shows lined up right now until the ones in Arizona next
    month.

8/19/00-Thanks to everyone who went to the show lastnight. There was a couple of big unexpected
lineup changes lastnight and a lot of other good bands played including Mid Carson July, Dragbody,
and The Aborted. Today is Yuri's birthday. Happy birthday Yuri!! Roger sold out and shaved his
head and the cockroach problem at the house has been solved. Go to the show Tuesday.

8/13/00- We have a few local shows coming up soon. We're playing in Espanola on August 18th and
at the Launchpad here in Albuquerque on August 22nd. We're also playing the Troma Kids cd
release/tour kickoff show at the Launchpad on August 30th. Roger finally got a job but Mario
hasn't. Grant got his nose pierced and Yuri shaved. Garth still hasn't sold any ska at the store.

8/8/00- The show lastnight kicked ass! If you weren't there, you missed out. Sorry about not updating
this page in a while, but we finally moved into our house and we didn't have a phone line for a while.
We are playing the Troma Kids cd release party on August 30th, it's also a sort of unofficial cd
release for us even though we've played a couple shows with our cds already. Mario filled in on
drums for Stainless when they recorded what is going to be their next CD, it sounds good, look out
for that in the near future. I wonder what Jason's doing.....

7/26/00- Show tomorrow was cancelled. Sorry about the delay on the news about that. Mario, Roger and
Yuri move into a new house with Grant this weekend. That's about all that's going on with us right
now. Scratch 'em if you got 'em. Deadline for submissions for Sector 7-G zine have been delayed
until August 10th due to moving and shit not happening here and stuff. E-mail stuff to:
    sectorseveng@hotmail.com

7/18/00- New pictures on the site, in the pictures section. They're from our trip to Colorado. Also, we are
NOT playing the Brian Angel benefit anymore. I know a lot of people have been asking me about this
but we could not play due to our schedule. We ARE however playing a show on July 27th, and the
venue is TBA and it is with Falsies, Staring Back and Over It. Thunder Blade on Sega Master System
fried my brain last week. Tony Hawk Pro Skater is still game of choice though. Mario issues a
    challenge to all!

7/13/00- Denver was fun. We played Sirr Issac Lyme's final show in Littleton, CO. Umm....new CDs
and t-shirts are in, so order one, or two, or three......Next show is on August 7th with Dillinger 4 at the
Launchpad. The show on Monday was good, even though the turnout was pathetic, come on, where
where you? Roger has a rash on his leg that won't go away, is slowly spreading to his brain.

7/2/00- The Someone Else's Problem machine is still up and running, despite what you may have heard
recently. CDs will be out July 8th. On this date we are still hoping to be going up to play somewhat of
a CD release in Denver. We'll keep you posted on this. New  T-Shirts are on the way. I forgot to
mention last update, but Sector 7-G zines are available, e-mail sectorseveng@hotmail.com for more
info on that. Submissions for the next zine are due August 1st. Upcoming local shows are on July 10th
with Stretch Arm Strong, One King Down, Diecast, School Yard Bully and 1 more band that Mark
booked whose name I don't know at this time. This show will be at UNM Hokona Hall Cellar and will
be $6 at 6:00. On August 7th we will be playing at the Launchpad with Dillinger 4, Troma Kids, and
Dead Empty. More info on the shows page. Made some small changes on the rest of the website, but
nothing major. Mario will be off playing drums on Stainless' recording in Denver in late July-early
    August. Dead Lazlo's Place (R.I.P).

6/28/00- Everyone go see Crispus Attucks on Friday, they rock. More info on this show is on Zac's
website here. Yuri and I got tattoos yesterday, ouch, but lots of fun. Well, we will have a show in
Denver on the 8th, hopefully, and we have shows here on July 10th and August 7th that everyone
should go to. I guess that's about it. I still haven't found a job.

6/18/00-Back from Denver, it was fun. All is well except I left my glasses at Dave Paco's house. Cds out
by the end of the month (hopefully).

6/12/00- Summer tour cancelled. We will be going to Denver to play this Friday, but the rest of the
    tour is cancelled.

6/4/00- The show yesterday went well, had to move it inside because of rain, but other than that no
problems, everyone had fun. However, yesterday was still a weird day. Mario almost died when
someone nearly hit him on the interstate, causing him to spin out of control and run off the road.
People in New Mexico need to learn how to drive. Yuri was arrested today, is now banned from
    Wal Mart. Film at 11.

5/31/00-Got bored. The website went through a metamorphasis. Hope everyone likes it. It's still not that
cool though. Go to the show Saturday. Got merch for tour on the way. That's all.

5/30/00- I posted some more lyrics today. I slacked on that and hopefully now Garth will stop bitching
at me for it. We leave on tour in about 17 days, tour dates are posted here. CDs will be out before
tour make sure you get one from us, they have 10 songs and the title is "Everything Just Needs to
Stop".We will be playing this Saturday at 21st Century Collectibles with Stainless, Left Unsaid and
Troma Kids. Patches and buttons are on the way also.

5/19/00- Thanks to everyone who went to the show on Wednesday. Sorry about Indecision not being
able to make it though. If you want to read an explanation of why, visit their website at
http://www.mostpreciousblood.com Our CD will be out before tour, hopefully. Said tour is still
being set up. Check out our shows page for dates. If you can help set any of them up, let me know.
The ones I need help with are the ones without stars next to the dates. That's about all. Mario sleeps
like a rock and has fists like hams.

4/27/00- We don't know what's up with tomorrow's show. Hopefully word of mouth will get to us. The
Kill Your Idols/Indecision show is going to happen at University of New Mexico in the Hokona Hall
Cellar. Should be a rad show, go to it. We're playing with Against All Authority and Let's Go Bowling
at the Launchpad on May 24th.

4/23/00-Show got busted up lastnight, finished up the recording, Yuri's growing a beard, go to the show
    tomorrow.

4/10/00- Thanks to everyone that went to the show on Saturday. We're finally recording this weekend.
I know we say this all the time, but it will more than likely happen this weekend. We're probably
playing in Albuquerque on the 22nd with the Messyhairs at Mark's house, but it might not happen,
we'll keep you posted. If not, we'll be playing with them and Planes Mistaken For Stars in Santa Fe
on the 24th. We're looking for a venue to put on the Kill Your Idols/Indecision show as well as a
couple others, if you know of any place, let us know. That's it, keep it real.

3/26/00-Our recording was postponed a week. We added a show on April 8th, it's in Santa Fe at
Warehouse 21 with Oppressed Logic, Ghetto Cherubs, Special Sauce and Stainless. There is three
tourings bands playing this show, so you should go check it out. We'd like to do a show here in
Albuquerque, so someone get us on one.Our tentative tour schedule is on the shows page, so if you
can help us with any of these shows, e-mail us and let us know.

3/17/00-Well, the Pulse dicked us over on Tuesday and all future shows there are cancelled. The
party/show tonight is on and is gonna kick ass. The bands are Last Day Parade, Someone Else's
Problem (of course), Light in August, Pullout Method, and a new band featuring Alex and TJ of
the band we used to call Hatchetface. This should be a fun show. $2 for 5 bands and of course
some tasty refreshments. It's on Bryn Mawr. Get on Indian School between Girard and Carlisle
and turn north on Bryn Mawr across from Montezuma Elementary. It's the third house on the right.
We're recording at the end of this month some time. Should have a release out by the summer. Also
some of us are working on a new local zine. If anyone is interested in submitting anything (reviews,
scene reports, columns, stories, comics, anything), e-mail sectorseveng@hotmail.com That's all folks!
See a flyer for an upcoming show here.

3/7/00- The party this Friday is cancelled, that's about all. Oh yeah, Garth got a new e-mail address so
don't write to the old one. We're still playing at the Pulse on Tuesday the 14th, Stainless and Morning
Wood are the other bands so far, we'll keep you posted.

3/2/00- Just want to thank whoever went to the show in Santa Fe last Friday, it was a lot of fun. We're
playing a show at the Pulse Night Club on March 14th with other locals, they'll be announced later.
Another show we have is in Santa Fe at Warehouse 21 with Planes Mistaken For Stars,The
Messyhairs and Knowital. This should be an awesome show and everyone should check it out, the
Messyhairs are a great band and also are friends of ours. It's on April 24th We also have a big show
coming up on May 17th. This will be at the Heights Community Center and will be with Kill Your
Idols and Indecision. Also, a friend of a friend's band Just Short of Living from Austin Texas will be
playing. Well, see ya at the parties. Yuri finally got a job.

2/18/00- Thanks to those that went to the show at Mark's house. It was tons of fun. All The Answers
is a great band. Our show in Las Vegas got cancelled because there was no place to put it on. Sorry
bout that. We're currently planning to go out on tour for 3 weeks starting June 15th. Keep an eye out
for when we play near you. There's some good hardcore bands playing at the Launchpad on Tuesday

the 24th at the Launchpad featuring local bands. Everyone should check that out, we need to have
more all ages shows around here. Well, that's about all for now.

2/14/00-Happy Valentine's Day. Yuri used his artistic talent and made us a Flash movie. I finally got
around to uploading it. To see it, click here.  Yuri's also got his own website with his animations and
comics, to see it go here. You need Flash for our movie and for Yuri's page, but he has a link to where
you can download it for free on his page. I was informed that the show this Wednesday is still
happening, but we're not sure if we're playing it or not, you'll be posted if you're on our mailing list.
We're also trying to get an early start booking our summer tour(s). If you have contacts in the
